In-text Citations When referring to the work of others in the text of your paper, whether quoting or paraphrasing, use parenthe-tical citations. For example:
Human beings have been described as "symbol-using animals" (Burke, 2008, p. 395).

APA 7th Edition
Guidelines General:
Typed, double spaced text, 1 inch
margins on all sides.
Legible 10-12 point font - like Times New Ro-man, Courier, or Arial.
Include a header with page # aligned right.
Begin each paragraph with a .5 indent.
Sections of your paper: Title Page—Title of your paper, author’s name, class name. Professors name. The page header on the title page should look like
Abstract—Begins on a new page and 150-250 words that concisely sums up your essay.
Main Body
Double-space and center the title of your paper. Double-space again, align left and begin the first line of text.
Reference Page:
Begin this list on a new page at the end of your paper.
Label the page References, centered at the top of the page.
Alphabetical order entries
Hanging Indents on all references
Double-space all citations - don’t skip the lines between entries. No extra space between para-graphs
List all authors up to 20 check hand-book for format.
