PHILOSOPHY . Freed of our inhibitions or the need to compromise, we are probably most authentic in our dreams, fantasies, and mythologies. It is hardly surprising then if artists have always found these timeless and universal realms so inspiring. Art is little concerned with superficiality, but reflects a deeper understanding of who and what we are. If its primary value is not mercantile, you may - at least for a while - become its custodian, and to surround one's self with works of art is an expression of personal reconciliation with achievement. Three keywords then – “Emotion, Sincerity, and Quality”. My hope is that you will also find a whisper of “Satisfaction” in this brief summary of my work. Cordially,
One of my finest achievements: a monumental bronze on the Historical Axis of Paris - reputedly ʺThe Most Beautiful Avenue of the World ". In place of the sterile boulder that traditionally symbolises the object of human endeavour, here Sisyphus strives over the perfect geometry of a monumental egg – universal if fragile symbol of the future.
Sculpting a monumental Equestrian statue will always be one of the crowning achievements in the life of an artist.
With one foot planted firmly on a dream, you can lift the whole world.
