Don Staniford is a true warrior hero. As a fierce love warrior he spoke confiden tly with creativity and courage and supported by so many beautiful people who ca re passionately about the environment, about salmon, about each other. It is remarkable to observe how a Harper government appointed a Judge to be in c harge of Supreme Court whereupon the order of the day is muzzle social media env ironment activists and quiet dissent by way of creating slap suits that are gros sly disproportionate to the budget of one single persona against that of the gov ernment and corporation. In the case of Norwegian salmon farms suing Don Staniford about his cigarette pa cks and for defamation because of the sting they claimed that there is sufficien t evidence to say that he jeopardized their business by creating an association of cancer with the farmed salmon product they deliver globally. Sadly because of the interconnections within the 1% of the very rich and the ass ociations and relationships between foreign multinationals and the government of Canada seeks to silence any one critical of their established norms and jeopard izing their profit margins. Its so vital important for people to see that they are fearful of the 99% and th e uprising of regular people, armed with their I phones and social media strateg ies of video and photo and audio and apps galore to spread information internati onally instantly. Its amazing to see the use of these devices for positive empowerment rather than simply for entertainment and distraction. Its a miracle that here in Canada the re are people who have access to this technology and have access to the knowledg e of how to use it to create documentary narratives that now everyone can active ly participate in. Its community access every where and the time has come for all peoples to be the director of their own stories. The time has come for all multinationals and cor rupt governments that do not consider the needs of their population to be concer ned because there are many warriors with courage and strength to be united on di verse issues.
