INTRODUCTION

01 - REFRESHER POLICY BETWEEN EVALUATION FFS AND BASE TRAINING INTERRUPTION

(1) The period of 21 days may be extended to a maximum of 1 month by issue of a training deviation.

(2) Refresher # 1 can be performed in either the simulator or the aircraft ; if performed in the aircraft, the Training Captain must refer to the Refresher Flight syllabus

02 - REFRESHER POLICY BETWEEN BASE TRAINING AND I.O.E INTERRUPTION

Unless more restrictive rules are edicted by the Airline or local Authority, a Recurrent Training is recommended after a 6 month to 9 month flight interruption.

• To be able to apply procedural knowledge to the various abnormal situations.

04 - SESSION GUIDE

7 : Cancel failure when wing and eng anti-ice are set to ON to continue the flight.

13 : Explain the different scenarii which can lead to such a problem :1. Lightening strike : ----> reset may be successfull2. Overload of the remaining generator in case of single operation : ----> in such a case the APU has been started and the status of the a/c is totally different3. Important short circuit on the generation line : ----> APU has not to be started in such a case4. Both FCU coming fault : ----> in the same time (contamination by fluid) ----> one at a time associated eventually with multiple electrical warnings. In such a case the recognition of the origin of the both generator failure being not evident to differentiate from the number 3, it is a Captain decision to start or not the APU according to the initial symptoms.

15 : Do not use the oxygen mask but explain how to establish the crew communicationwhen using it.

24 : Cancel failure when APU bleed has been established and engine restart in flightcheck-list has been done.
