Students are prepared to pass the (Environmental Protection Agency) EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification. This certification is necessary for work in the field

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT THE PROGRAM:• Honolulu CC serves as the State of Hawai‘i's exclusive provider of college level training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology.• Lab work affords you the opportunity to install, repair, and operate actual field equipment, such as, a commercial package and split A/C, liquid chillers, commercial ice machines, and domestic equipment.

ITEMIZED ESTIMATE OF EDUCATIONAL COSTS:• Tuition based on number of credits taken.• The cost of tools, instruments, and textbooks is approximately $800.
