During 1st year of defect liability period, AC agency is also required to provide the required man power for the operation of the VRF system without any extra cost. Bidders are also required to quote their per year rate separately (as a new BOQ item as per the attached annexure-“A”) towards comprehensive operation & maintenance of the VRF system for the next four years after completion of 1st one year of defect liability/maintenance period. In this regard the AC agency has to provide the bank guarantee of the equivalent per year quoted amount to be kept valid for the 4 years plus three months from the date of completion of 1st year of defect liability period. This BG is required to be submitted by the successful bidder before release of the final bill payments after the successful completion of the work. However a separate supplementary agreement shall be executed (after the successful completion of the work) between the PU and AC agency towards comprehensive operation & maintenance of the VRF system for the next 4 years after completion of 1st one year of defect liability period.

Comprehensive Operation & Maintenance

Note:- The AC agency has to provide the bank guarantee of the equivalent per year quoted amount to be kept valid for the 4 years plus three months from the date of completion of 1st year of defect liability period.
