The compact/mid-sized SUV segment just got a little more competitive with the
launch of the all-new 2013 Toyota RAV4. While it certainly looks all-new
compared to the vehicle it replaces, Motor Trend has declared that the 2013 RAV4
has done just enough to compete in the segment it helped to create.

2013 Toyota RAV4
When just enough isn't good enough!
When Customers take a look at the 2013 RAV4, they will quickly see that just
enough quite simply isnt good enough against the 2013 AJAC Sport UtilityVehicle of the Year... the Hyundai Santa Fe!
Use this bulletin to refresh your product knowledge of the Santa Fe vs. the RAV4, and make
sure all of your Santa Fe Customers are familiar with our fantastic value advantages!
Like many of their other recently introduced vehicles, Toyota had 2 things in mind when developing the
2013 RAV4; fuel economy and price. And while the RAV4 is competitive in both areas, these attributes
mean that Customers have to make plenty of sacrifices with regards to performance, engine technology,
passenger volume, premium features, and driving experience.
When compared to the 2013 RAV4, the 2013 Santa Fe offers Customers:
More horsepower and torque More passenger volume
Direct injection technology An optional turbo-charged engine Driver Selectable Steering Mode
Greater versatility with a 40/20/40 foldingrear seat
Available Premium features such asheated rear seats, a heated steering wheel,
rear sunshades, and a panoramic sunroof
And perhaps most surprising of all... the 2013 RAV4 is not available with leather seats!
Thats right, the 2013 Limited RAV4 is only available with simulated leather Softex fabric seats.
A 5-year Comprehensive Warranty... something that costs an extra $1,669 for an all-wheel drive RAV4

The all-new 2013 Toyota RAV4 is shorter and narrower than the 2013 Santa Fe, which results insignificantly less passenger volume. Its smaller size, single 4-cylinder engine, and new pricing strategypositions it against the Tucson. However, Customers will likely still compare the RAV4 against the Santa FeSport. While the Santa Fe has a higher MSRP and payments across all trims, it offers a tremendous valueproposition, more desirable equipment, premium materials and finishing, and more driving excitement thanthe 2013 RAV4.
