    Firecracker ClassicPre-Show

    and the

    GREETINGS

We were very gratified by the reception, turn out and comments for the 2009 show. In fact wewere notified by USEF that the Region 15 Championships was among the popular Arabianshows.

From the results of the surveys, we have added several classes and made most of the changesthat you, the exhibitors, requested. The officials once again were hired as the results of the sur-veys dictated.

So what is different for this year? Some of the news is not as good. The VHC has hit us withearly arrival and late departure fees in fact the costs have risen over $5,000 over the last con-tract. As you know AHA has also increased per horse fees charged to the shows.Owing to this we have made MINIMAL increases BUT we are going to give back in even more

ways to make the show even better! We have eliminated the Trail and Hunter Fence fees andhave absorbed other increases where possible.

We will feature a FREE Exhibitor's dinner, Wednesday afternoon from 2 until 6 PM (or when thefood runs out); the location is next to Moore Arena. The Regional Championship Reining willserve as the entertainment with new classes for Junior Horse. The show will once again matchup to $5,000.00 in sponsorships but in a change sponsors may designate classes to sweeten thepot. There will be $1000.00 given away for Supreme Sport Horse Under Saddle.

The popular Trainers Draw will DOUBLE and Amateur Give Away will now include CASH withalong with merchandise and gift certificates and we will continue our "Be FUELISH WITH 15!"

The Firecracker Classic schedule/class list has been totally revamped to encourage larger classsizes and more qualification points! The change is to include TBA classes; please check therequirements and deadlines! REMINDER new qualification rules apply!! Don't forget to listen forthe $500.00 in Firecracker CASH to be given away.

Again in 2010 please be sure to complete the questionnaire and judges selection form. It is in-cluded in every packet and there will be a box in the show office for its return (you may also mailbut should do so within 7 days). One of the questionnaires will be selected at random and thewinner will receive a free stall for 2011.

As always we appreciate your comments, concerns and suggestions and will do our best to in-corporate them into the scheme of things.

Thnx for taking the time to read the entire prize list for all the updates and information you needto make your decisions and entries.

Look forward to seeing you at the Virginia Horse Center!
