Sorry for the late response, the questions were submitted before the close of questions on March 22, 2018 11:30PM 1. After reviewing the attached document, we couldn’t find the duty or size of the existing what is the required Ammonia Condensing Temperature? 95 degrees 2. What is the Design Ambient Wetbulb Temperature? Please refer to ASHRE standards for the region. 3. If Dry Operation is required, at what Dry Bulb Temperature does the tower need to operate without the use of Spray Water? The use of water would need to take place when the outdoor temperature becomes too warm to sufficiently remove heat from the ammonia and change it into a liquid. 4. Is a separate glycol circuit required to cool the compressor jackets? No a. If so, what are the conditions of the glycol cooling loop? (Flow, Inlet Temp, Outlet temp, capacity) N/A 5. Is this a replacement for an existing Condenser (Cooling Tower)? Yes a. If so, what is the Manufacturer, Model Number and Serial Number of the Existing unit? See attached photo b. If so, does the new unit need to be supported on the same structure as the existing unit? Not necessarily, we are open to other options. i. If yes, is it located on a stand? Yes 1. If Yes, What are the dimensions between the structural steel supports? 2. Can pictures be provided? See attached photo. 6. Is maintenance access required such as Access Platforms, Ladder, Perimeter Handrails, etc? If it decided that the unit should remain on a stand as the existing one is then all safety platforms and catwalks would need to be included.
