What is the Regional Transit Map Book?

Whether you’re going five miles or 50 miles, the Central Puget Sound network of coordinated public transportation options is ready to take you there. This guide will help you find the bus, train or ferry (or combination) that best meets your travel needs. Relax – we’ll do the driving.

Get started

To plan your trip, find your starting place on a map in this guide. Maps show bus routes that serve each location, followed by infor-mation about each route. Maps also show other transit facilities, including train stations, ferry terminals and airports. For more details, try the Regional Trip Planner or contact the service pro-vider – phone numbers and websites are listed on the back page.

Pay for your ride

Your cost to ride the bus or train can vary by type of service, tran-sit provider, time of day and length of trip. Children, seniors and those with disabilities usually pay less than adults. To find the fare for your trip, contact the provider(s) using the phone number of website listed on the back page.

Buses: Be ready to pay exact fare when you board.

Trains: Before boarding, buy your ticket from the vending machines at stations.

If you ride transit often, an ORCA card can make it easier and more affordable. You don’t need to worry about carrying the right change and you do get credit for transfers within two hours. Learn more at orcacard.com or call 1-888-988-6722.

When you take a bus, tap your ORCA card when you get on the bus. For Link and Sounder trains, tap ORCA on a yellow card read-er at the station before boarding and then tap again after you get off the train. This ensures you are charged the correct fare.
