YourVoiceTraceriscontrolledbyaninternalprogramcalledfirmware.Asapartofongoingproductmaintenance,thefirmwareisrevisedanderrorsarecorrected.

Itispossiblethatanewerversion(an“update”)ofthefirmwarehasbeenissuedsinceyoupurchasedtheVoiceTracer.Inthiscaseyoucaneasilyupdateyourrecordertothelatestversion.

1 ConnecttheVoiceTracertoacomputerusingthesuppliedUSBcable.

2 DownloadthefirmwareupdateforyourVoiceTracerfromwww.philips.comontoyourcomputer.

3 CopythenewfirmwarefiletotherootdirectoryoftheVoiceTracer.

4 DisconnectingtheVoiceTracerfromthecomputerautomaticallyupdatesthefirmware.

DNote• Pleasenotethatthefirmwarefilemustbelocatedintheroot

directorytoallowautomaticupdating.• Thefirmwarefilewillbedeletedautomaticallyaftertheupdatehas
