What is it?
The Ninth Period Enrichment Program is unique to the Woodcliff Lake Schools. It is a student-centered,
teacher-run after-school program for all 4th through 8th graders. District teachers develop each course in its
entirety. Thus, a wide range of enrichment opportunities is available from which to choose this session! Dates
for specific courses vary; the Spring session runs from February 6th to May 5th.
High School Tutoring Service
For our middle school students, tutoring from Pascack Hills High School students is available free of charge!
Tutoring takes place in the Woodcliff Media Center Tuesdays and Wednesdays (you choose the day) from
3:00pm to 4:00pm. PHHS tutors have routinely helped students in grades 6 through 8 become more organized,
develop study skills, complete homework more effectively, and provided general academic assistance. See the
catalog below to enroll your middle school student today!
Is there a cost?
This session, there is no cost! Ninth Period courses fall into one of two categories – academic and extra-
curricular. Both types are free of charge and funded by the Board of Education. In future sessions, courses
marked as extra-curricular in this catalog may have a nominal charge applied.
