Annual ICA Golf Tournament
Pebble Creek Country Club, 4500 Pebble Creek Pkwy, College Sta.
ICA will host the annual golf tourna-
ment on Wednesday, June 20th, with a
tee time of 8:30a.m. Range balls and
golf carts will be provided. Teams will
be assigned in advance, so be sure to in-
clude your handicap with your registra-
tion. Awards will be presented to the
winning team.

52 Card Drawing Be sure to buy your cards for the 52 card
drawing. There will be two drawings—-one
for a Henry rifle and one for a lady’s handgun with a con-
cealed handgun carry purse. Cards will be $20 each and
can be purchased at the registration desk beginning
Wednesday afternoon. With only 52 chances, the odds of
winning are great!! Winners will be drawn at the Live
Auction Thursday evening. 3
125,000 golf balls a year are hit into the water at the famous 17th hole of the
Stadium Course at Sawgrass. The longest drive ever is 515 yards, the longest
putt ever is 375 feet.
There are 336 dimples on a regulation golf ball.
Wednesday Casino Night
John Sharp, Chancellor of the Texas A&M University System As Chancellor of the TAMU, he leads one of the nation’s largest university systems, including 11 universities and seven state agencies, which has an annual budget of $4.55 billion. Chancellor Sharp brings with him more than three decades of public service, and a passion to make the A&M
system the best system of higher education in the country. The son of an oil field worker and a school teacher, he grew up in the farming community of Placedo in Victoria County. He served as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves and belongs to American Legion Post 76 in Austin. From 1991 to 1999, Chancellor Sharp was the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
