REGULAR ACTIVITY REPORT 2017-2018

International Yoga Day:

International Yoga day was celebrated on 21st June 2017 in Erandwane Campus of

Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune-38. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Manikrao Salunkhe inaugurated

Yoga day with lighting of lamp early in the morning. On this occasion Prin. Dr. K.D. Jadhav, Dr.

Mukund Sarda, Dr. Sachin Vernekar, Dr. Rathod, teaching non-teaching staff and students of

colleges, schools were actively participated. About 500 persons were present on yoga day.

Tree Plantation Program:

This program was organized on 1st July 2016 at Erandwane Campus of Bharati

Vidyapeeth. About 250 sapling were planted in the campus of schools, colleges and around the

play ground. Prin. Dr. K.D. Jadhav, students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college and

about 560 students actively participated in tree plantation.

Blood Donation camp :

On the occasion of August Kranti Din on 9th

August 2017 the NSS unit of the college

organized blood donation camp. This camp was inaugurated by Prin.Dr. K. R Mahadik, In the

presence ofDr. S.G. Pawar, Prof. K.V. Mohite& NSS volunteers. 223 blood donors donated their

blood to Bharati Hospital Blood Bank, Pune. All volunteers actively participated in this camp.

Hemoglobin (Hb) Checkup –

Bharati Hospital Blood Bank, Pune had checked the hemoglobin of 211 girls in the college. It is

observed that majority of girls are having less than 10 Hb in their blood and above 20 girls

having less than 8 Hb in their blood. A suggestion to increase the Hb is given to all volunteers in

the college by the expert doctors.

Selection for Pre-RD Camp and SRD Camp:

Mr. Satyam Jayant Devkar was selected from Bharati Vidyapeeth University for Pre-RD Camp

and SRD Camp at Shri Shivaji College, Barshi.

Workshop on Beti Bachav Beti Padhav: The workshop was organized on 28th

August 2017.

On the topic “BetiBachavBetiPadhav”by Lokayat NGO Pune. This workshop was inaugurated

by Prof. Medha Pansare 69 students were actively participated in the workshop.

Ganesh Festival –

On the occasion of Ganesh festival 26 volunteers participated for collecting of Ganesh

Idols to keep in the water tanks and collecting the Nirmalya for healthy and non polluted

Environment from 4th

Sept., 2018 at various places at banks of Muttha river.

Police Mitra at Ganesh Festival:

On the occasion of Ganesh festival from 25th

Sept. to 5th

Sept. 2017, 46 volunteers

participated as a Police Mitra at various places in Pune City. The volunteers helped to control

traffic, children and old persons at various places.

N.S.S. DAY –Sankalp Se Siddhi

Essay competition:

The Essay competition was organized on 20th

Sept, 2017 on the topic “Main Swchathakeliyekya

karunga /karungi ?”. About 56 students participated in this activity. The result is as follows

Poster competition:

On 20th

Sept,2017 the Poster competition was organized on “Organ Donation”. About 50

students participated in this competition. The result is as follows:

Constitution Awareness: Street Play:

On 23rd

Sept,2017 the street play was organized on Constitution Awareness .The NGO.

Lokayat students expressed their views on Constitution Awareness, Buvabaji and education.

About 270 students were participate

Elocution competition:

On 23rd

Sept, 2017 the Elocution was organized on topic “Organ Donation .About 25 students

participated in this activity .The winner are as follows:

Swchatha Oath:

Swchatha Oath was taken by the volunteers on the occasion of NSS day on 23rd

Sept, 2017.

About 270 volunteers were participated in this activity.

Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti 2/10/2018

On 2nd

Oct, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in the college.Prin. Dr. K.D. Jadhav

offered Pushphar to Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri. All staff member & students of

the college were present on this occasion.

MULTICON 2017 On Medical Science (Two Days Seminar)

Indian Medical Association, Pune was organized MULTICON 2017, on 2nd

December 2017

at Annabhau Sathe Auditorium in Pune. In this seminar various Research Papers were presented

by the specialized experts on medical science. As a volunteer our following students were

actively participated in this seminar.

National Voters Day:

Awareness Rally:

To create awareness among the students and in the citizens the “Voters awareness rally”

was organized on 25th

January 2018. in Kothrud slum area of Pune city. In this rally Banne and

Poster were taken by the students about 1200 Students actively participated in the rally.Teaching

and non-teaching staff were participate in the rally.

National Voters Day:

The program was organized on 25th

January 2018.On this occasion Dnyaneshwar Molak

Commissioner, Election Vikas Bhalerao, Tahsildar ,Voters Registration officer,

AnantPiseNayab Tahsildar, Satish Bhogam Coordinator officer Election Pune, guided the

students. Prin. Dr. K. D. Jadhav gave his speech about the role of young voters in India. Dr. S.

G. Pawargave introductory speech and welcome the guests.

National Seminar on Medical science:

Indian Medical Association Pune was organized MULTICON 2017 on 2nd

and 3rd

Dec,

2017 at Pune. In this seminar outstanding efforts dedication and contribution to the success of

Medical Conference were given by Anjali Bapat, Sapana Tiwari, Shradhha Parab, Sonali

Divate, Priyanka Jori and Baba Kshirsagar.

State Level Workshop on“Sustainability through “Knowledge college

village”collaboration:

This workshop was organized by the Dr. D. R. Gadgil centre for Sustainable Village

Development, Gokhale institutes of politics and economics (GIPE). Pune, NSS Cell government

of Maharashtra, COEP, Pune on 18th

Jan, 2018.The NSS volunteers Rahul Desai, Rohit Mali,

Baba Kshirsagar, Sonali Divate was actively participated in this workshop.

Inauguration of “Electoral Literacy Club”

To increase Literacy among the students about election and voting the club was

established in the college. On this occasion Prin.K.D.Jadhav. Dnyaneshwar Molak, Asst.

Commissioner P.M.C. Pune. Vikas Bhalerao Tahsildar Asst. Voter Registration Officer Pune,

Shree, AnantPise, Nayab Tahsildar, Pune. Shree. Satish Bhogam, Election Coordinator Pune,

all teaching and Non- teaching Staff and 300 Volunteers were Present for the function.

Voters Oath:

The Voters Oath was taken on 25/01/2018 by all volunteers, teaching, non-teaching staff and

guest participate in the auditorium.

Power Point Presentation:

PPT was given by Vikas Bhalerao,Tahsildar& Asst. Voter Officer, Pune, to understand

the process and importance of voting in Indian democracy Felicitation of the college teachers

who worked for voter’s registration were felicitated by the Chief Guest after work. Vote of

thanks was given by Dr.S.G.Pawar.
