Save the dates and pray for God to prepare our hearts for this special time of spiritual renewal.
The Youth Pastor Search Team is overjoyed to present Scott & Amy Yaikow to the FBC family! The deacons have also provided unanimous support to bring Scott as a candidate for the FBC Youth Pastor position. The Yai-kow’s will be coming to Washington on September 19-21 for a “view-of-call” weekend to visit our church and to get to know our youth and youth families. Weekend activities will include:
● Friday, Sept. 19 - Tiger football game & 5th Quarter @ The Ark
● Saturday, Sept. 20 - Church-wide Dessert Fellowship
@ 6:30 p.m. to hear from Scott & Amy
● Sunday, Sept. 21 - Scott will share in both morning services
Information cards and Scott’s resume are available at the church. The Lord has led us to a great couple and we feel that you will quickly see their love for Christ and their passion for teenagers as they spend time with us on the weekend of September 21st. Please join us for this significant time as we experience God’s provision for our student ministry here at First Baptist.
Yours in Christ,
Youth Pastor Search Team

Tina Bailey, Kyle Bearse, Ashley Cox, Amy Harkins, John Mack, Denise Moore, Sissy Murray, Robert Stevens
We are also excited to offer Children’s
Revival featuring Really Woolly Kids that
will fan the flame of your child’s
faith. Children will gather with their family
in the sanctuary to enjoy worship music led
by The Akin Family, and then will be dis-
missed to join Miss Paula for a special time
of learning and fellowship for children (3 years – 3rd
grade).
A nursery will also be provided for all worship services.
The Akins are three brothers and a dad whose faith and family
values shape everything they do. Their musical talent, tight family
harmonies, and live instruments create a unique sound that is
enjoyed by all ages.
Invite your friends and family to this special time of revival ser-
vices as The Akins share powerful music along with inspirational
testimonies and messages from God’s Word.
Services will be held on Sunday morning, October 19th followed
by evening services on Sunday through Wednesday.
