The DeepingsNeighbourhood Plan pre-submission consultation12th Oct. to 23rd Nov. 2019A group of volunteers, town and parish Councillors have been working hard for the past 3 years preparing a Neighbourhood Plan for the Deepings. When adopted this will have legal status and aims to help make the Deepings a be�er place to live, work and play through policies that developers and planners will have to comply with.
The plan has now reached dra� status and in accordance with the legisla�on, you, the residents and businesses of theDeepings now have an opportunity to view and comment on the document for a 6 week period. SKDC will also run a consulta�on on it slightly later and eventually you will have the opportunity to vote on whether it should be adopted.
Please use this opportunity to have your say, we would welcome construc�ve comments or to point out any omissions.The important parts are the Policies. If you can find �me, reading the whole document or at least a whole sec�on will put the policies into context. A neighbourhood plan does have limita�ons as it is only concerned with land use. However the policies have been carefully determined to deliver maximum benefits whilst keeping within the scope of those limita�ons. Please read the introduc�on document as this will help to explain the scope.
By comple�ng online, all the results are automa�cally collected and as we are volunteers doing this in our spare �me, that would be immensely helpful. If you don’t have access to the internet a paper copy will be available at Market Deeping Town Council, Deeping St James Parish Council offices, Deepings Library and Deepings Community Centre.

ASSISTANT SITE OFFICER 37 hours per week 52 week contract Grade 6 Point 7 to 12 Actual Salary from £19,554 to £21,589 (depending on experience)
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Officer to join the Four Cs MAT to provide maintenance, security and care of the Trust buildings, grounds and facilities. Previous trade experience is desirable. There is a shift pattern of work in place that includes early mornings, evening and some weekend working. The role will be based across schools within the MAT both Primary and Secondary and will be fully supported by a motivated and successful central Site Team. Strong personal qualities such as confidence, integrity and presence are sought.
SCIENCE TECHNICIAN Term Time plus 2 Training Days 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm Fridays 8.00 am to 3.30 pm Grade 3 Point 2 Actual Salary: £14,868 per annum
Working in the Science Prep room you will provide apparatus and materials for teaching staff to enable them to deliver Science lessons. This friendly team work closely together to support the large Science Department. Training will be provided prior to commencement of the role. Consistent and effective communication are required together with the ability to use own initiative.
