PCA Minimum Qualifications: Option # 1• BA/BS with 42 semester hours or

63 quarter hours in either Ag Science; Biological Science; Natural Science; or Pest Management.

• No Work Experience• 2.0 GPA• (12 SH of physical & biological

science; 9 SH Crop Health; 6 SH Pest Management Systems & 6 SH in Production systems. 9 SH of electives

• No Degree• 42 SH or 63 Quarter Hours same

as degree candidates• 24 months of combined

experience• 2.0 GPA• Note: 3 SH given if CCA for Crop

2009 Volatile Organic Compound Emissions-Remake

• Regulations Require DPR to Establish a Fumigant Limit for NAA that Exceed 80% of the Pesticide VOC Benchmark.

• Data derived from a calculation involving 1991 emissions and will use non-fumigant emissions for 2007 to determine the fumigant limit for 2009

• To reduce VOC’s by 20%, DPR has focused on limiting fumigant emissions, implementing regulations that prohibit higher emitting application methods

• SJ Valley NAA would have been impacted by the fumigant limit

businesses must have a person certified in new fumigation category by 1/1/09

• Fumigation Methods: “Low-emission” methods required during May-October.
