RSA & RCG

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and

Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) training will

be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 24th & 25th September.

These courses provide excellent credentials for your

future working life, while at University, travelling or

simply earning a living.

It is important to note that if you are considering

going interstate this is a NSW Training course

only. For interstate accreditation apply online for

an extra certification for the state required e.g.

QLD is $30 once the NSW Certificate is obtained.

This is a reduced fee once this certificate is

completed.

Students do not need to be 18 in order to complete the training; however they will not be able to

implement it until they turn 18.

All students are required to present a USI number

to the day of training (usi.gov.au). All students

also must present two forms of ID on the day

including photo ID – school ID is accepted.

The maximum for each group is 30 students but if there are considerably more students

interested a second trainer may be engaged. (Absolute cut off 60 students if extra presenter

available) First 30 to pay guaranteed a spot.

If you are not participating in the training then normal classes must be attended.

Friday 13th September

November 14th

On the Day of the Formal:

On the morning of the 14th November, all year 12 students need to be at the Worker's club

from 9.00am to 11.00am for a rehearsal. This will prevent delays on the night and allow you to

understand how the formal evening will proceed.

When you arrive at the venue around 5pm you will have your photo taken exiting your arrival

transport. After photos proceed directly to the sign in counter at the club and sign in. After signing

in you can then watch your fellow students arrive. This stops delays in proceedings for the

evening. Please ask parents to sign in as soon as they arrive at the club, before watching

arrivals.

Ambulance Cover in Queensland

At the present time there is no agreement between NSW and Queensland to provide ambulance cover for NSW students on excursions in Queensland.
