Separate page for student summaries of each group which I write on at the end of each group. (in packet). I copy mine on blue paper to distinguish between group and individual sessions.

These papers are kept in individual student’s folder which I keep from K-5th grade.

It’s interesting to see how the students grow and change with friendships, family dynamics, etc. each year.

How to Organize GroupsHow to Organize Groups

I have a file folder holder on

the back of my office door to

Store materials. These are stored in the order

Of the groups by day of the

Week and time. At the end of each group I write individual notes

and prepare for the following group by making copies, etc; then I place everything in the correct pocket for the next time.

Keeping Up with Group SessionsKeeping Up with Group Sessions

Remembering which group session you are teaching can be tricky. I organize by writing groups’ names on the board or making an animal and placing small objects above the animal to determine which group I’m teaching
