    Actix Analyzer Update March 2014 2

    1 In this versionThis release contains support for new and updated file formats. There are updates for mosttechnologies that Actix supports, with changes falling under the following categories:

    New collection devices and performance improvements: Added support for Nemo Handy version 2.18. Added support for PCTEL EX Flex Scanner in Ascom TEMS API file

    format.

    Added support for LTE for Samsung S3/S4 devices in ZK Celltest fileformat.

    Application layer improvements: None.

    Platform improvements: Fixed an issue in the Settings and Thresholdsdialog window in

    Spotlight.

    Fixed an issue in the Event Query windowin the AnalysisManager.

    A problem has been resolved that would cause Display onWorkbook (Active) to not be available in the UI for CrossTab

    queries.

    Documentation: None.

    Known issues: None.

    2 New collection device or technology support2.1 Ascom TEMS support

    An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting GPSattributes like altitude, speed, and heading.

    Added support for VoLTE IP Packets (SIP, STP, and RTP attributes) forQualcomm and Samsung chipset devices.

    Added support for PCTEL EX Flex Scanner (LTE Multi-Carrier). A problem has been resolved that prevented the Protocol Stack Browser

    from being correctly populated with RRC messages.

    An improvement has been made in displaying SIB messages separatelyin the Protocol Stack Browser instead of aggregating them into onemessage.

    In GSM, an issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from settingsignal strength attributes (ServRxLevIdleandServRxLevEither) inMPH Measurement Report messages.

    An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from fully decoding theLTE RRC UE Capability Information message.

    2.2 Focus Infocom support An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set invalid values for

    the attribute LTE_UE_Residual_BLER_DL.

    2.3 Huawei Probe support An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set low values of the

    attribute Physical_Throughput_DL.

    Added support for the Huawei E3276S GU device.2.4 Meritech support

    In CDMA, improvements have been made on the attributeTechnology_Mode for when the information element NW type isEHRPD or 1xRTT.

    Created a new attribute called Meritech_user_eventthat Analyzer willset in case of a User Event being included in the logfile.

    A problem has been resolved that caused some .CSV files exported fromSigmaML logfiles to fail to load in Analyzer.

    2.5 Nemo support Added support for Nemo Handy version 2.18. An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from loading some

    Nemo version 2.18 logfiles exported by Nemo Converter 3.7.40.

    Added support for the attributes LTE_Uu_RRC_eNodeB_Id andLTE_Uu_RRC_Cell_Idthat are now displayed separately (previouslydisplayed as the cell identity information element in the SIB1).

    Added support for the attributeUu_HSDPA_PayloadRate_L1_Requestedto indicate the requestedthroughput by the handset.

    2.6 Wireshark support An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from correctly

    recognising the device in Wireshark logfiles.

    2.7 Qualcomm support A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from populating

    LTE attributes in the relative nodes in the Attribute Explorer.

    Added support for the Qualcomm message LTE LL1 Whitened Matrices(0xb14c).2.8 Rising support

    An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set very low values (~-105dBm) of the attribute MobileReceivePower in Rising CDMA log files.

    2.9 Swissqual support In GSM, an issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from decoding

    information about the BSIC in some R&S GSM scanner log files. The

    attribute impacted is ScanSortBSIC_by_SigLevel.

    A problem has been resolved that caused the Coverage tab not toappear in Spotlight projects for some Swissqual LTE Scanner log files.

    2.10 ZK Celltest support Added support for LTE for Samsung S3/S4 devices.

    2.11 Generic In LTE, improvements in CSFB event detection have been made whenthe events LTE_Event_CSFB_CallSetupFailand

    LTE_Event_CSFB_CallRedirectionFail are pegged.

    3 Application layer improvements None.

    4 Platform improvements An issue has been fixed within the event query windowthat caused

    Analyzer to show/hide the dimension EventBefore when the userclicked on the buttons Previousor Next.

    A problem has been resolved that prevented the Settings andThresholdsdialog from opening in Spotlight projects.

    A problem has been resolved that would cause Display on Workbook(Active) to not be shown in the UI for CrossTab queries.
