What’s this about?Tomorrow, the National Minimum Wage will be increased across the board. Remember, this pay increase is mandatory for all businesses and anyone entitled to the minimum wage must receive it from this date.This is the largest real-terms increase in the National Minimum Wage since 2007, and more than 1.4 million of Britain’s lowest-paid workers are set to benefit.

National living wage coming soon!From April 2016, a new compulsory National Living Wage will be introduced for workers over 25, which will be set at £7.20. The aim of the National Living Wage is to ensure that all work pays, allowing people to meet the basic cost of living and reducing the need to rely on benefits. The National Minimum Wage will still apply for workers under 25.
