This week’s theme is: “Including Others” School Concert The children and teachers are very excited about the school concert on Thursday night. Every grade has been praccing their acts and I’m sure they will put on a fantasc performance on the night. The concert, which is being held at the Nathalia Community Centre, begins at 7.30pm and will run for about an hour. I’m looking forward to our school community coming together and enjoying the 2015 Nathalia Primary School Concert. Fathers Day and Footy Colours Day The Father’s Day breakfast was a great start to a special day at the school. The event was very well aended and the catering by the Parent’s Club was excellent. I’m sure the Dads enjoyed the giſts from their children that were purchased at the Father’s Day stall later in the day. The kids really got into the swing of things and loved wearing their favourite footy colours to school and parcipang in the footy themed acvies. This was a fantasc day for our school community and I’m sure it was enjoyed by everyone who was able to aend. Parent - Teacher Interviews Parents who would like to meet with their child’s classroom teacher should contact the school to arrange a mutually convenient me for an interview. It is important that parents and teachers meet regularly and work together to enhance the educaonal outcomes for their children. Thanks, Chris McCallum—Principal Prep Transion Program The 2016 Prep / Foundaon Transion Program is available to families who have enrolled, or are considering enrolling, their child at Nathalia Primary School in Prep (Foundaon) next year. The Dates are: November 10 (includes parent informaon session) November 17, November 24. These sessions run from 9am - 11am. and December 1st. This session will run from 9am - 11.30am Pick up and drop off at day care can be arranged. Please contact the Principal, Chris McCallum, for further details.

School Concert

The children and teachers are very excited about the school concert on Thursday night. Every grade has been practicing their acts and I’m sure they will put on a fantastic performance on the night. The concert, which is being held at the Nathalia Community Centre, begins at 7.30pm and will run for about an hour. I’m looking forward to our school community coming together and enjoying the 2015 Nathalia Primary School Concert.

Fathers Day and Footy Colours Day

The Father’s Day breakfast was a great start to a special day at the school. The event was very well attended and the catering by the Parent’s Club was excellent. I’m sure the Dads enjoyed the gifts from their children that were purchased at the Father’s Day stall later in the day. The kids really got into the swing of things and loved wearing their favourite footy colours to school and participating in the footy themed activities. This was a fantastic day for our school community and I’m sure it was enjoyed by everyone who was able to attend.

Parents’ Club News A huge thank you to all who supported our Father’s Day

Raffle and special thanks to The Nathalia Post Office, What’s

New and The Good Guys, Shepparton for donating prizes.

We hope that all who attended our 4th BBQ Breakfast

had an enjoyable time.

Raffle winners were:

1st - Damian Kerr (Book donated by Nathalia Post Office & a

$50 gift voucher donated by The Good Guys.)

2nd Prize - Tyler Moor (Photo frame donated by What’s New,

Shepparton and Favourites chocolates)

3rd Prize - Gary Peachey ( Photo frame donated by What’s New,

Shepparton.

Concert Hamper Raffle reminder Each family has been asked to provide 1 or 2 pantry/

laundry items for our annual Hamper Raffle and to sell tickets.

All hamper items and raffle tickets need to be dropped

off at the school office prior to Thursday, September 10th.

The Raffle will be drawn at the school concert on

Thursday, September 10th the proceeds will go towards the

purchase of new classroom furniture.

School Athletic Sports Our students have been training hard, with the

assistance of teachers and Doug Cobbledick for the athletic

sports to be held on the last day of Term 3, Friday, September

18th.

The Inter School Athletic sports will be run on Friday, October

9th. The grade 3 and 4 students will travel to Numurkah and

the grade 5 and 6 students will compete at Nathalia.

On this day we will require some assistance from parents.

Anyone willing to help out on this day are asked to

contact the school office.

School Council Proposed Working Bee

The School Council will be holding a working bee at the school on

Sunday, October 18th, 2015

Garden, school grounds and sheds are on the list to be tidied up.
