This year, City Paper told its readers something that most people in Remington already know: that Rem-ington is a really great place to live. We were named the 'Best Up and Coming Neighborhood' for 2013. The article cites our affordable housing, cool busi-nesses and new development, including the Tire Shop and the Remington Main Street proposal. The APO fraternity will do work that includes in-stalling plastic on windows to keep out drafts, pre-paring pipes to prevent freezing and other steps that will help lower heating bills and keep the house warmer when the temperatures drop.
