Please follow the steps outlined in this guide which will show you how to access the Clarion Partners applications via Citrix or VPN.

Section 1: Accessing Citrix Applications outside the Office STEP 1 Remote Website Using a web browser, navigate to: https://remote.clarionpartners.com to open the CP Remote site.

If this is the first time you are using Citrix on your computer, or if you are having trouble launching applications after logging in, please follow the steps below. If this is not your first time, skip to Here for Windows logging in and Here for Mac Logging in.

STEP 2 Accessing Software Click ‘here’ on the Login screen (see below), to begin the download of the Citrix software.

STEP 3 Download Client Select an appropriate Download link to install Citrix client (see screenshot above).

• For Windows Users – Must be Windows 10, 8.1, or Windows 7. • For MAC OS Users – Must be MAC OS Sierra Version 10.11, 10.12, or 10.13

Click ‘here’ to go to the Citrix Client download page

Select ‘Yes’ to Windows UAC Message or ‘Run’ (will vary machine to machine)

Accept the Licensing agreement and select ‘Next’ From the Enable Single Sign-on screen, uncheck the Enable single sign-on option and click on the Install button. After install completes, Select ‘Add Account’

If you see this screen you must restart your computer When prompted, enter remote.clarionpartners.com in the Add Account dialog and click the Add button.

• User Name: Your user name

• Password: Your windows password

***Upon clicking Log On, you will be prompted for Multi-factor authentication on your mobile phone either by phone call, text message or Authenticator App, depending on which method you chose.

From the Start menu, scroll through the list of applications and click on Citrix Workspace.

Apps tab in Windows You will see a list of applications you have access to under the ‘Apps’ tab.

Once you locate the application you want to open, click once on the icon to open.

Desktop tab in Windows

The Desktops tab provides you access to the Clarion Desktop Environment (this is not your actual office computer) Click on the Clarion Desktop icon to open.

This is a great place to access the files on your networks drives (N: , H:) and access applications as if you are working on one of the CP computers remotely. You’ll see the screen below and then click ‘OK’ to acknowledge the logon warning.

Section 3: Accessing Citrix Applications with a MAC STEP 1 MAC OS Installations On your Mac, go to the Finder and select Go to access your Downloads. In the Downloads list click on Citrix Workspace to launch.

Double Click the Install Citrix workspace icon to being the installation Click continue to start the installation

Click install Enter your MAC Password and click install software Check the add account box and click continue

Click close to the installation successful message On the Add Account enter remote.clarionpartners.com Enter Clarion Partners credentials and Click Log on

***Upon clicking Log On, you will be prompted for Multi-factor authentication on your mobile phone either by phone call, text message or Authenticator App, depending on which method you chose.

STEP 2 Logging In To access the workspace after it is installed User finder and go to the applications tab and double click Citrix Workspace. Enter your credentials as shown above. Apps tab in MAC OS You will see a list of applications you have access to under the ‘Applications’ tab. If you do not see the applications as expected, click on the Main icon to bring you back to the Main access point in Citrix. If you are in the Main folder, and do not see a way to access the applications as expected, contact the Clarion Partners Helpdesk to request access.

Section 4: VPN Client Connection (Employees with CP laptop only) VPN is Virtual Private Connection. Once connected you’ll be able to work as if you are sitting inside a Clarion Partners Office. Please follow the instructions below on your CP laptop. STEP 1 Select Start, All Programs, Cisco, Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.

STEP 2 Connect to: ‘nvpn.clarionpartners.com’. Click the Connect button.

STEP 3 Enter Username and passcode and Click ‘OK’. ***Upon clicking OK, you will be prompted for Multi-factor authentication on your mobile phone either by phone call, text message or Authenticator App, depending on which method you chose.

STEP 4 Click ‘Accept’

Section 5: Troubleshooting remote access.

Unable to login If you are unable to logon your password might be expired, or you might need to restart your computer. For assistance contact the Clarion Partners Helpdesk

Unable to access applications or desktops If you are able to sign on, but unable to access applications or desktops after you sign in, you might need to reinstall the Citrix Client.

Unable to access applications using the Microsoft Edge Browser

The Microsoft Edge browser which is the native browser for Windows 10 is not compatible with the Citrix Client. Please use Internet Explorer or the Google Chrome Browser.

Slow Access to Files/Folders on VPN

To Improve access speeds, set the local printer to print to Adobe PDF. Click the Windows button->Click the Settings icon->Select Devices->Select Printers->Select Adobe PDF->Select Manage->Select Set As Default
