What Are the Injection Rates?
Line Blaster is a liquid solution of peracetic acid andother ingredients that penetrates into deposits andbreaks them up into microscopic particles that willpass through anyemitter. Line Blasteris a weak organic acidwhich means by thetime it is diluted, itwill not change thepH of the water.
Line Blaster is the only product we know of that willunplug blocked emitters in micro irrigation systems.Use it regularly to keep the system clean.
What is Line Blaster?
Absolutely Not. Line Blaster issafe to spray on plants. We havetested Line Blaster at 30 timesthe recommended dosage andhave had no ill effects. LineBlaster has been overfed manytimes by customers withoutharming any plants. Line Blaster has never had to payfor plants that have been harmed.
Will Line Blaster Harm My Plants?
Line Blaster is a liquid that is injected into irrigationsystems to remove blockages and unplug emitters. While Line Blaster cleans inside of the lines, it also hasanother side benefit of cleaning outside of the
irrigation system. Line Blaster ish i g h l y c o n c e n t ra t e d a n d i sinexpensive to use. It can also beused in your existing water poweredfertilizer injector. Line Blaster isinjected into the system at 1:6,000for a quick clean up. Line Blaster is
the only product we know of that will unplug blockedemitters in micro irrigation systems. Use itcontinuously to keep the system clean.
What Does Line Blaster Do?
www.lineblaster.com 800-CHEM-911
Yes, but be careful. Pleasedon't mix anything with fullstrength Line Blaster. It It’svery concentrated and reactswith many things. In dilutionthey are fine together, not inthe concentrated form.
Can I Mix Line Blaster with Fertilizer?
The grower probably has abetter idea of how often tou s e L i n e B l a s t e r. I tdepends on how often thesystem is a problem, waterconditions, temperature, and other factors. It isbetter to use Line Blasterbefore it plugs. Perhaps aregular schedule of every month, every two months. You can set up a regular maintenance schedule thatworks for you. Line Blaster works the way that you do.
How Often Do I need Line Blaster?
For cleaning, set the Gator XL typeinjector at 1:100. Add 1 pint (16ozs.) of Line Blaster to every 5gallons of solution in the mix tank.Inject for the last 30 minutes in eachzone and shut down the systemovernight. Come back the next dayto work as usual. No flushing orlabor. It is best not to make up moresolutions than can be used in 24hours.
For continuous injection, mix Line Blaster at 4 ouncesper 5 gallons of water and inject at 1:100.

How to Use Line Blaster
Removing Blockage in Micro Irrigation Systems
Preventing Blockage in Micro Irrigation Systems
Continuous Injection in Micro Irrigation Systems
Line Blaster works by removing the top layer of deposits or blockages and breaking them intomicroscopic particles so it can pass through any emitter. Line Blasterworks on most types of deposits and all types of micro irrigation emittersand systems. Line Blaster cleans filters and if possible should be injectedbefore the filter. Most deposits have taken a while to form, so Line Blastermay require a few treatments to remove deposits. Our competition isreplacing parts of the irrigation system. The labor required to clean microjets or replacing drip tape alone is not even close in cost. When pluggingoccurs, it tends to be random. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to theplugging. You would think it would occur more in the lower areas, but itdoesn’t. The best indicator of how often and which schedule to follow isthe history of plugging that has occurred in the past. If a system tends tohave plugged in the past, a good preventive program is a must. If you planto flush the system, flush before injecting Line Blaster. The last 100 ft. ofdrip tape seems to collect chunks of deposits that are best flushed beforethe treatment begins. It is not necessary to flush after injecting LineBlaster.
Gator XL Injector
Inject Line Blaster at 1:6,000 until it reaches the end of the line. Use teststrips to make sure it’s reached the end. Shut down system leaving LineBlaster in the system for 4-8 hours or overnight. Repeat 2-3 times untilemitters are flowing like they were first installed. Quickest Results.Increasing rate to 1:3,000 or 1:2,000 yields even quicker results.
Inject Line Blaster at 1:10,000 until it reaches the end of the line. Use teststrips to make sure it’s reached the end. Inject another 15-30 minsafterward. Shut down system leaving Line Blaster in the system for 4-8hours or overnight. Repeat once every week or two depending on thehistory of the system.
Some systems can’t be shut down due to the heat and water requirements.Inject Line Blaster at 1:20,000 for a total of 12 hours per week overseveral days. Since the system can’t be shut down, continuous injection isthe only option to keep the system clean. If system is running 24/7alternate between day and night. Example: Tues 8am-12pm, Wed 9pm-1am, Fri 1pm-5pm, etc. for a total of twelve hours per week. Earlymorning and evening are best.
