Remove MobileIron Instructions

When a device is retired all configurations and Willis data is removed from the device. A device can be retired

either by the device owner through the BYOD portal or by an administrator through MobileIron. If you wish to

remove MobileIron from your device, please follow the self-service

The screen shots below depict the steps to remove MobileIron and access to corporate resources on your

Android device. This process will not wipe personal data such as photos or personal email accounts. Due to

variances between Android device interfaces, the screenshots below may not match your device.

The process will include:

• Removing the MobileIron Apps and associated Data

• Once removed you will not have access to your corporate mailbox, calendar, contacts or data

from your device

Note: Simply removing the MobileIron app from your device will not remove all the configurations put in place

on your device. Please follow the below directions to ensure all configurations are removed.

1) Remove the Device from MobileIron management:

From any web browser

Go to https://byod.willis.com/

Login with your Willis INT

credentials

Select the device you wish to

remove on the left side of the

screen

In the center pane select

“Remove”

When prompted select

“Ok” to delete/retire the

device.

You will receive a successful

notification once complete.

2) Uninstall the Applications from your device: (Note: Retiring the phone from MobileIron will not

automatically remove the apps from your phone).

Launch the “Settings” App Tap on the “Apps” settings Find the “Divide PIM” App

and Tap on it.

Click on “Uninstall” to remove

the application from your

device.

Tap on “OK” at the prompt Repeat Step 2 for the

MobileIron, Web@work,

Secure Apps Manager and

File Manager.

3) Optional: Remove device lock passcode

From the apps screen

Tap “Settings” (location of the

Settings icon may vary)

Scroll down and select

“Security”

Tap on “Screen Lock” Enter your passcode when

prompted.

Tap on the Option of your

choice to change to a PIN or

remove it. “Lock Screen” and

“No Lock Screen” will remove

the need for a PIN

Congratulations, you have successfully removed MobileIron from your device.
