How will it protect my car?

Renault Paint Protection is a ceramic coating which forms an invisible, but substantial barrier against dirt, acid rain, car wash brushes, bird matter* and oxidization of your paintwork.

Not only will it protect your paintwork but it can also be applied to your alloy wheels to keep them looking shiny.

The product is guaranteed for 5 years, without the need to reapply. Just clean your car weekly or monthly.

It only needs to be applied once and then you can forget it’s there altogether. The only reason you will know your car is protected, will be down to the minimal amount of cleaning your car will need once applied.

Can you protect the inside?

Renault Paint Protection also protects the upholstery of your car, covering seats, carpets and mats.

Wax on the surface is eroded by heat and rain. Dirt and grime become embedded in the paint surface making it difficult to remove. Tiny peaks and troughs hold the dirt within the paint.

Renault Paint Protection levels and protects the surface with a layer of ceramic coating. Dirt and grime now sit on the protected surface, unable to bite into the paint and run off easily when wet.

Q How often should I clean or polish my car?A There is no need to polish your vehicle for 5 years once Renault Paint Protection has been

applied. Just take reasonable care of your car and wash it when it’s dirty with a mild shampoo.

Q Can I use any shampoo on my car?A Yes, but we recommend using the Renault Car Shampoo available from your local Renault dealer.

You will also be fine using any other leading car shampoo without any wax content. We don’t recommend you use washing up liquid, because the salt content can be extremely corrosive to certain parts of the vehicle.

Q Can I use a car wash or hand wash centre?A Yes, a well maintained car wash / handwash centre will not in any way affect the advanced

Renault Paint Protection coating.

Q How quickly should I remove bird droppings? A As soon as possible before deposits become dry and baked on. If you find any baked on deposits,

repeatedly soak the droppings using a Bird Dropping Remover and the deposits will simply ease off. Don’t aggressively scrape off dry droppings as this could damage your paintwork.

Q Do I have to pay for Renault Paint Protection again if my car is involved in an accident?A In the event of an accident the product can be reinstated on paintwork, alloy wheels, glass

sunroofs, side windows and door mirrors by your Renault Approved Accident Repair Centre as part of your insurance claim.

Q Why are the front and rear windscreens not applied with Renault Paint Protection?A Due to the complex sensors on the screens it is not recommended by Renault.
