Hi There,

With Twin Cities talent that includes f ive photographers, four makeup ar tists , three

stylists , three local fashion designers, f ive jewelry designers, and the delightful Gabby from Ignite Models , “Rendition” is a project

that ’s deliciously local . There is nothing that excites me more than seeing a group of

creatives take an idea on paper and work together to bring that idea to l i fe . When you’ve got the right people, the hair, the

makeup, the l ights , the set , the clothes, the model , the expression, and framing of the image, they all f it together l ike pieces to a puzzle. That collaborative energy has

become something of an addiction for me.

Lately I ’ve been doing a lot of questioning on the way we interpret fashion imagery. The way a garment is priced, branded, and marketed for a par ticular kind of woman is often entirely dependent on the creative team behind its photography. The “Rendition” project was a bit of a scientif ic experiment for me. In addition to my passion and responsibil ity to promote local talent , I wanted to see how the creative eye of these photographers would produce unique interpretations of the same model in the same three dresses. The result is something truly beautiful . Turn those pages.

Emma BergEmma Berg focuses largely on commissioned

event wear, working one-on-one with her cl ients to create garments that are custom designed for that individual . Berg prides herself in the qual-ity of her fabrics , local production and detailed

f inishing. Berg recently received accolades from City Pages in its annual Ar tist of the Year issue.

Berg’s SS2014 collection received national at-tention on Today.com for the commitment to the community, as the collection was focused on the

creation of custom prom dresses, designed and gifted to 10 scholarly girls from the Boys & Girls Clubs of the twin cit ies . Berg strives to positively

impact her community through fashion, par tic-ipating in numerous charity events, designing

garments that directly benefit such charit ies as the Boys & Girls Club, MIA , Minnesota Historical Society, Give Us Wings, Women About Hear t Dis-

ease, Minnesota Opera, and Susan G. Komen to name a few.

George MoskalGeorge Moskal studied apparel

design at UW Stout and hosted several off-campus fashion shows. He went on to

study at American Intercontinental University in London and interned

alongside Zandra Rhodes. After college, George Moskal received the f irst annual Big Break Award for Fashion from Dazed

and Confused magazine. Following the competit ion, George Moskal designed a

print-focused capsule collection for Topshop Boutique. A George Moskal design

evokes a t imeless elegance, with luxury fabrics , couture techniques and an

experimentation of the modern silhouette. George Moskal works out of his downtown

studio in the relative quiet of Saint Paul , Minnesota.
