    1. EDGE LICENSESAll competitors must hold an EDGE license or purchase either the season or temporary license prior to competition. This must be done at tof registration and initial draw for position, and prior to car being presented in inspection area. Benefits enjoyed by licensed drivers includeEDGE points for that event, Renegades of Dirt provisional starting spots, Renegades of Dirt contingency prizes, higher event purses, increamedia recognition, and year-end point fund & awards.

    2. ENTRY FEESAll Renegade of Dirt Modified Touring events will carry a $25 entry fee. Entry fee must be paid before team will be allowed to register for aevent. In the event of inclement weather (rain out), participants who had paid entry fees will be credited entry fee for the next EDGERenegade event and given show up points providing that the participants completed at least one hotlap session.

    3. CAR SPECIFICATIONSAll current 2013 EDGE Renegade of Dirt Modified Tour car construction/body rules apply at every event as outlined in the 2013 EDGE E-Modified sanction rulebook. Please review the current 2013 rulebook of any amendments that may occur throughout the season.

    4. TECHNICAL INSPECTIONCars must be presented at inspection area prior to entering track for any reason. It is the competitors responsibility to know and adhere toEDGE car construction rules. No refunds of any entry fees, etc. will be provided should car fail inspection process or be deemed illegal. Theparticipating driver only must present car for inspection. An official inspection area will be announced at least one hour prior to any on tracaction during each event. We welcome friendly communication but will not tolerate verbal conflicts. Each car that is found to be in violationany of the rules, will be given a chance to fix the infraction and report back to tech prior to hotlaps, failure to comply or be re-teched in atimely manner will disqualify you from that event. All Renegade of Dirt Tech officials make the final call, no arguing will be tolerated. Beprepared to be tech'd throughout the event, if found in violation you will be disqualified and forfeit all purse and points for that event. The five cars after the feature will report to the tech area for post race inspection unless otherwise noted by series officials.

    5. DRIVER REGISTRATIONQualifying lineup drawing time and driver event registration will have a cutoff time of thirty (30) minutes prior to any on track action. Drivecrew may report to registration after signing up and paying the event entry fee will be allowed to 'draw' one pill for qualifying position. Driv

    who fail to draw a pill prior to qualifying will tag the tail of the last heat race. We will have a dedicated registration location established at eevent. You will also use this location for info on the nights events.

    6. EVENT FORMATFormat: Cars will qualify in order of their pill draw. Redraw for heat race positions will be held after qualifying on the front stretch. The evefast qualifier will report to the front stretch for a photo and to draw a pill (1-4) for the amount of cars that will be inverted in each heat racLineups will be set according to his/her 'draw' and the number of heat races and transfer cars will be determined by the number of cars ateach event. Cars unable to make the starting grid for the assigned heat race may not start in another heat. These cars will be added to theback of the B/C main race lineup. Should car counts dictate that no B/C main qualifiers be required, non starters from heat races will be adto tail of A-main starting field. Event race procedures will be in accordance to the host tracks normal house rules. If they run a judgment csystem, a no stop rule, or version of either, the tour will abide under the host tracks normal race procedure. Competitors (driver only) areasked to report as scratched if they are unable to continue in the event due to mechanical problems. It is the racers responsibility to knowwhat race they are in, and be staged in a timely manner. Feature Redraw will begin no later than five (5) minutes after final qualifying heatover, or after all drivers are in attendance. Should a driver not attend, he will be assigned the last of the eligible starting positions and

    everyone else will move up accordingly. If 4 heats, they will draw for spots 1-4. All second place heat finishers would then redraw for spots8. Positions 9-18 would be determined by heat and LCQ finishing orders.

    7. PROVISIONAL STARTERSRenegades of Dirt will award a minimum of two (2) provisional starter at each event. A driver may only receive a maximum of five (5)Renegades of Dirt provisional starts per calendar season. The 19th A-Main spot will go to the Fastest Qualifier who does not transfer into thA-Main, the 20th A-Main spot will be awarded to the series high point individual who fails to qualify into the A-Main. For the first event of agiven season (regardless of date held), the Renegade of Dirt provisional will be awarded based on the Top 10 of the previous years finalRenegade Point Standings. From that point forward, the Renegade of Dirt provisional starter will be awarded based on the current Top 20point standings of the Renegades of Dirt Tour and participant must have a 100% attendance status.

    (Provisional's) Host TrackUnless otherwise noted, a track provisional will be awarded based on local track points. Pending the time of year, this may or may not bebased on the previous years point standings. This will be announced during the drivers meeting. Eligibility for either provisional spot(Renegades of Dirt or Host Tracks) driver must have made an attempt to qualify via his heat race. He/she is not required to run the B-MainHowever the participant must make at least one full lap in the A-Main to receive feature purse money and feature points.

    8. STARTS & RESTARTSAll heat, consolation, and feature races will start double file until one complete lap is in the books. Once the scorer has confirmed that allparticipants have completed at least one lap; restarts will be single file only in all races. For all restarts the 1st place car will set a constant pfrom the back straightaway to designated race starting point. The 2nd place and all other cars are responsible to keep that pace. The leaderstart the race anytime after reaching the designated starting point (often out of turn 4), but may not accelerate until reaching that point. Oall starts all cars behind the front row must remain in line SQUARELY behind the leaders until the green is displayed. Cars may NOT drop tothe inside or pull to the outside of the cars in the next row forward until all cars have accelerated and passed the flag stand. Cars that driftfar to the outside or inside of the formation may be penalized with a restart violation even if no cars have been passed. If any car drops ouany time during the event all cars will just move up one row, there will be no criss crossing.

    9. START / RESTART VIOLATIONSLead row cars will be given one (1) warning without any penalty for the entire race for a start/restart violation. Cars behind the lead row wnot be given a warning. Cars behind the lead row will be penalized on the next restart or the final finish, whichever comes first. Starts/restawill NOT be called back for a start violation with the exception for front row car violations. A front row car will be moved back one (1) row f

    a jumped start. Cars outside the front row will be moved back two (2) positions for falling out of nose-to-tail formation or gained positions.

    10. LAPPED CARSNon-incedent/non-pitting lapped cars will be aligned behind the last non-incident/non piting lead lap car in the order in which they crossedfinish line on the last lap they were scored, regardless of the number of times lapped. However, if a lapped car has re-passed lead lap carsduring the green flag racing and appears to be making progression, it may be permitted to retain its position in the lineup. Track has optionadvance (1) or more of the highest position car(s) that are (1) lap down to the lead lap during a caution/red. Lapped car(s) may be advancfor the entire race or until any specified lap. Cars that are 2 laps down will not be advanced any laps. Caution cars will NOT be advanced baunder any circumstance. Lapped cars moved to the rear of the lead lap cars will be considered officially lapped in the race unless they re-pathe leader on a scored, green-flag lap or unless the option is used to advance lapped cars on the caution.

    11. CAUTION CARSCars determined to be involved in an incident will be sent to the rear any time after the flagman attempts to start a race, even if the greenflag does not appear. Cars that pit will be sent to the rear any time after the cars enter the track for the race. Cars that will part of the incid

    will be judged on a per case basis and deemed final by the hosting tracks staff. Cars who appeared to be involved in the incident via avoidifurther damage will not be penalized. Restart order will be lead lap cars, the lapped cars, caution cars and cars returning from the pits.Caution cars will be realigned by the order which they were last scored.

    12. AGGRESSIVE DRIVINGAny car that makes intentional contact with another car under non-racing conditions will be subject to disqualification from that race or theentire event. Any aggressive acceleration under non-racing conditions will also be subject to disqualification. Any obvious intentional contacunder racing conditions will be subject to disqualification.

    13. EXCESSIVE CAUTIONS / UNCOMPETITIVE SPEEDAny car involved in (2) single car cautions in any race will be sent to the pits. Any car which officials determine has clearly caused (2) incidein any race may be sent to the pits. Any car that officials determine to have caused an intentional caution may be sent to the pits. Any car is on the track at an uncompetitive speed may be sent to the pits.

    14. INFIELDAny car that appears to have intentionally raced more than 1 lane inside racing surface through the infield to gain position will be penalizedone lap in the final race finish for each violation. Cars that go through the infield due to an incident will not be penalized if no positions aregained.

    15. RACE RE-ENTRYCars may pit and return to the track during the feature race only with permission of the entry official. If a car re-enters the track after thegreen-flag is displayed but prior to the next lap being scored, the location of the entry onto the track will determine if the car is on the leador if that car will be placed one lap down. If more than two green flag laps are run prior to returning to the track the car will not be allowedre-enter onto the speedway.

    16. ON-TRACK REPAIRThe hosting track will have the option to pull sheet metal on the track, or to send cars to the pits to pull sheet metal according to home-trarules and standard procedures. No pit crew is permitted on the track at any time during the event. Driver may not get out of the car on thtrack during an event except for emergency situations or otherwise mandatory.

    17. COURTESY LAPSTrack will have the option to allow for courtesy laps for flat tires only. If allowed, only two courtesy laps will be given.

    18. UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCTIf any driver is disqualified for by track officials for unsportsmanlike conduct during the racing program, the track will make the decision towithhold prize money or pay the driver for last place. Track officials will make the decision to award or withhold track points for a driver tha

    disqualified for other technical infractions or unsportsmanlike conduct depending on the severity of the infraction and participants will receionly Renegade 'show up' points for that event.

    19. LAP SCORINGIf the leader plus one car has crossed the line, that will be scored as a completed lap. Any cars not being scored on that lap will get theposition they held on the last scored lap, except caution/red cars. If the caution appears before all cars cross the start/finish line on the finalap and the leader has taken the checker flag, the race will be complete and finishing order for any car not scored before the yellow appearwill be determined by the order in which they would have restarted.

    20. RACE COMPLETIONFeature races must run two consecutive laps to the finish. Heat and consolation races may run one lap to the finish. A race can be calledcomplete any time that the top 2 cars have been scored under the halfway flags. A consolation race may be called complete if the number cars running equals the number of transfer positions. In the event of weather, a race will be called complete if at least 15 laps have been ru

    21. FINAL FINISHING ORDERFinishing positions will be determined by the order the cars cross the finish line. For cars that have completed the same number of laps, cathat have completed the most recent lap will be placed first, in the order they completed that lap.

    22. CHANGE OF CAR / DRIVER ALTERNATINGDrivers may attempt to qualify only one car for each event, but in the event of equipment failure a racers back-up car will be permitted.Drivers/cars cannot be changed after the initial event registration/draw without permission from the race director, including back-up cars. Adriver/car change that is not reported to tour officials will result in disqualification. Any change of driver/car will result in the driver/car taggthe tail of the next race regardless of earned position.

    23. POINTS SYSTEMThe driver earns all points for each event, not the car. Renegade points will also count towards that races weekly EDGE PRA.Points will be awarded for the feature as follows:

    1 4 7 10 13 16 19 2

    2 5 8 11 14 17 20 2

    3 6 9 12 15 18 21 2

    Drivers who do not qualify for the feature will receive 65 DNQ points. A driver must make one lap on the track in their car under its own poto receive DNQ points. If an event is canceled after the Renegades of Dirt have begun heat races and the event lineup remains set and isrescheduled, regular points will apply. If an event in canceled after the Renegades of Dirt have begun warm-ups and the event in notrescheduled or is completely reset all racers will be awarded '50' show up points for that event.

    Renegade of Dirt event points will also apply to EDGE weekly event point totals. Only racers holding an EDGE license will be awardedRenegade or weekly points. Temporary (single event) license holders not eligible for points and resultant awards. Points are not retroactiveshould temporary license holder later become full season EDGE licensed driver.

    24. SCALESThe top 5 finishers in any race must cross the scales immediately upon exiting the racing surface. Bypassing the scales for whatever reasonwill result in automatic disqualification from previous event. The scales at each hosting track will be deemed final unless otherwise noted prto the start of the event.

    25. PROTESTSProtests must be presented to the official series race director in writing within ten (10) minutes after the completion of the race with theprotested car accompanied by the full protest fee and administrative fee. A car must finish in the top five in the feature to be protested. Thwritten protest must state clearly the item(s) of protest, and can only be requested by an owner or the driver of the car in competition durithat racing feature. Only the owner/driver of both the protesting and protested cars may be present at the officials protest inspection. In thevent of a scoring protest, only the driver may protest to tour officials. A scoring protest must be made in writing no later than 10 minutesafter the conclusion of the feature event. Payoff may be held until the results of the protest are final. Any illegal parts may be confiscated btouring officials.

    26. CAR PROTEST FEES$200 administrative sanction fee for all protests in addition to the following listed protest fees:

    All cars: $300 to verify body and spoiler measurements, wheel base, and other body infractions. This also includes the use of illegalsuspension or the use of aluminum products that are deemed illegal. Other protest fee's are at the officials discretion.

    The tour will have the option to retain or refund all or any part of the administrative fee. The protest fee will be given to the protested carowner if legal and returned to the owner of the car filing the protest if found illegal. Cars found illegal will be disqualified, will lose all pointsevent and it will be the tracks discretion to award race earnings.

    27. TIRE PROTEST FEES$500 administrative sanction fee for all protests in addition to the following listed protest fees:

    All cars: $1500 per tire to verify that the use of any chemical treatment or compound altering solution or solvent was used to aid in thesoftening or traction of the participants tires. Other protest fee's are at the officials discretion and can be added.

    The tour will have the option to retain or refund all or any part of the administrative fee. A new tire(s) will be given to the protested car owif legal. Cars found illegal will be disqualified, will losall points for event, will be banned for the six weeks from any EDGE event, and it will be the tracks discretion to award race earnings.
