Renewal Process:

A Step-by-Step Guide for Private Applicators

This is the renewal postcard we send to every applicator. Important renewal information is located on back side of the post card above the mailing address.

Both the license number and the renewal code can only be found on this postcard or by contacting MDA. These numbers do not appear on your license.

Visit the web address on the front of the postcard to begin your online license renewal.

Step 1:

Select “License Lookup and Renewal” from the menu located on the left side of the screen. Step 2:

Select ‘I want to begin a license renewal application’. Step 3:

Enter the license number provided on the postcard. Step 4:

Select “Pesticide Private Applicator Certificate” from the dropdown menu.

Step 5:

Enter the code provided on postcard and search to bring up license information.

Step 6:

Check that all information is accurate & click ‘update’ to input missing information.

After all information has been updated, select ‘confirm employee details’. Step 12:

Complete the necessary empty fields and submit. Note: the code used for login will be needed here again. Step 13:

This is the payment summary page. You will be taken to another site for actual payment after selecting ‘make payment’.

Step 14:

Complete the payment submission page and proceed to confirm. Once payment is submitted, applications will be sent directly to MDA for approval.

Step 15:

Once approved by MDA, you will receive a generated email letting you know you have been approved. At this point, your license will

be available to print online.

Printing Your Certificate: Step 1: return to the web address printed on the front of your MDA renewal postcard.

Select “License Lookup and Renewal” from the menu located on the left side of the screen. Step 2:

Select ‘I want to look-up/update my current license information’. Step 3:

Enter the license number provided on the postcard. Step 4:

Select “Pesticide Private Applicator Certificate” from the dropdown menu.

Step 5:

Enter the code provided on postcard and search to bring up license information.
