Once we realise who we are we then have thenew information to be able to find out whatit is that have been put on the earth for. ForGod wants to work through you and me notany imitation or any other person than yourtrue self. So now that you have seen throughthe previous article “What Are You Like?That a lot of the actions that you do aresometimes not the right thing to do but arejust preconceived ideas that have been putthere by others. There comes a time in yourlife or maybe more than one time, you start tothink about if things could be better or if theywill be better somewhere out in the future.

Well the good thing is there is a solution toyour identity which you may have not consid-ered before. That thought pattern goes backright to the creation moment when God cre-ated human beings to be in the likeness andthe image of Himself. And God said, Let usmake man in our image, like us: and let himhave rule over the fish of the sea and over thebirds of the air and over the cattle and over allthe earth and over every living thing whichgoes flat on the earth. And God made man inhis image, in the image of God he made him:male and female he made them.

So what a thought right at the beginning wewere meant to be creative, not just in ourearly years but also in our entire life span. Forit is the renewing that brings strength;

The Renewed Mind Isaiah 40:31 says; But those who arewaiting for the Lord will have newstrength; they will get wings like eagles:running, they will not be tired, and walk-ing, they will have no weariness. What ittakes is for us to listen to Him and thereare many ways in which we can do thatthrough our worship of Him. Of courseif you do not have a relationship withHim then you won’t understand Him, sothe first thing is to ask Him to come intorelationship with Him as this will thenstart to produce the correct fruit from thebranch. Which by the way is a metaphorto living in the right relationship withHim. The vine (Jesus) being the source ofsupply from which the branch (us) getsit’s nourishment. In other words we arethe branches in which the supply from theroots and the vine pass through to pro-duce fruit.

You see it is not by achieving by our ownstrengths that we get the best results. Wecan see that through the western world byits continuing pursuit of result drivenmind set. No we never feel totally fulfilledthat way all that seems to happen is thatwe just need something else. What weneed today is a new attitude to whathappens when we approach things with aclean heart or as I should

Say a new approach to the way that wethink. Psalm 51:10 says; Create in me aclean heart, O God; And renew a rightspirit within me.

By being in the spirit helps when a re-newed mind is being created as it iswhen we are open to change we see themost effective change. Also coming intoagreement with something opens up thewindow of opportunity to have a trans-formed life. So as it says in Phil 2:2;Make my joy complete by being of thesame mind, having the same love, beingin harmony and of one mind.
