Bond Measure CThe Lafayette School District has decided to place a Bond Measure on the June 7th ballot. The school district seeks to secure $70 million in funding to repair, reno-vate and modernize our schools. Your Chamber Board of Directors voted to support this measure. Summer Series – Rock the Plaza
We are back this summer with attitude! Join us on Friday evenings in June at Lafayette Plaza (corner of Mt. Dia-blo Blvd. and Moraga Blvd.) from 6:30-8:30pm. Bring a chair, a blanket, and the family. Beginning on Friday June 3 we are proud to have the Allmond Brothers Clan. These guys are pros and if you close your eyes, you’ll swear Dicky Betts is in Lafayette. On June 10th, it’s the Beatles cover band, Tickets to Ride. On June 17th we welcome back The Big Jangle, the Tom Petty Cover Band that fea-tures locals Paul Cortruvo and Kiki Stack. On June 24, we are treated to a whole lot of local talent as the Lamorinda Arts Council presents the 2016 Lamorinda Idol Finalists. The Lafayette Rotary Club will be back with good eats.
