Request for Registration of Rent to Own Contract
This service allows clients to apply to register a rent to own contract between a buyer of real property and financer under which payments are made by the buyer to the financer. At the end of the term of contract, the ownership of real property is transferred to the buyer.
The service is provided by the Department of Real Estate Registration Services –Registration Trustee Follow-up Section
Required Documents
1- Title Deed2- No Objection Certificate from the developer3- Deferred Sale Agreement4- Ijarah letter from the bank indicating the Ijarah amount and the start
and end dates5- Legible black and white copies of valid Passports or Emirates ID

Request for Registration of Finance Lease Contract
This service allows clients to apply to register a finance lease contract between an owner of real property and a financer (bank) under which the owner obtains finance in return for assigning the ownership of land and leasing this land again from the bank pursuant to the terms of contract.
Required Documents
1- Original Title Deed2- Letter from the financer, and attendance of the bank representative3- Attendance of the owner in person or attendance of his attorney.4- In the event of attendance of the owner’s attorney, he must submit
the Original Power of Attorney attested by the court. If the Power of Attorney is issued outside of the UAE, it must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE embassy in the relevant country, and must be accompanied by the legal translation into Arabic.
5- The validity of the Power of Attorney may not exceed two years.6- Contract may not be registered if the land is granted.

This service allows clients to apply to register the modification of the details of a finance lease contract, including the extension or reduction of the term of contract or modification of any other details of the contract or registration entries.

Request for Termination of Rent to Own Contract (Oqood)
This service allows clients to apply to register the termination of a rent to own contract with the Land Department upon the lapse of the term agreed upon by the parties.
All real property owners and financial institutions are eligible to apply for this service.

1- Oqood Contract 2- Letter stating the termination of contract3- Copy of valid Passport of the owner

1- 1,000 Dirhams upon expiry of the term of Ijarah or termination of the Ijarah contract by mutual agreement
