How long will it take for my hire equipment to arrive?

Depending on your delivery location and equipment availability will be delivered next day (or in some cases same day). Contact your branch on 1300 744 736 for more information.

How is the equipment maintained and tested?

All hire equipment is maintained to Australian Standards and manufacturer’s recommendations.

What payment options do you have available?

Payment can be made by credit card (most major cards) and via purchase order. To discuss alternate payment methods please contact your branch on 1300 744 736.

What should I do if my equipment is damaged or malfunctions during use?

Please discontinue use immediately and contact your branch so we can arrange a suitable replacement and repair the damaged equipment.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not attempt to repair the equipment under any circumstances. In many cases, equipment may still be under warranty and any authorised repairs may void the warranty.

What freight providers do we use?

For most equipment we can provide standard road freight to all major cities and regional centres using our approved list of logistic providers. You may also nominate your preferred freight carrier.

Rigging Rentals provide concrete lifting clutches for hire, which are designed for lifting pre-cast concrete product such as construction panels, pipes and columns. We hold multiple units in each size, so have the ability to supply several units of the same capacity for applications such as bridge beam installation.

EDGE LIFTING CLUTCHES

We provide Ancon and Reid edge lifting clutches for hire for the the lifting of pre cast panels. All clutches are supplied with test certificates. The clutches are available in 4.8, 7 and 10 tonne capacities.

Rigging Rentals provide a range of high quality alloy shackles for hire, ranging in capacity from 4.75 tonne through to 250 tonnes. All alloy shackles are full tested and maintained to manufacturer standards.

We provide a range of high capacity sling saver shackles for rental. The shackles are designed with a non-slip surface that eliminates bunching and reduces the tendency of the sling to slide. All shackles are full tested and maintained to manufacturer standards.

Rigging Rentals hold chain sets in single and two leg sets across our branch network in all sizes from 10mm to 32mm, contact your closest branch for stock and availability. We can cater for one off hire of a single set through to the fit out of multiple dry hired cranes for long term projects.

We have a wide selection of synthetic round slings with some high capacity units for heavy lifts,Rigging Rentals can supply round slings from 10 to 200 tonne.

We also have a range of flat webbing slings suited for lifting boats, fibreglass pools and other lifts that where chains or round slings are suitable, we have sets of 10t equalizing triangles with two 5t x 200mm wide 8.0m flat webbing slings fitted with quality Yoke sling connectors, these are perfect for swimming pool lifts.

Rigging Rentals hold a limited range of large masterlinks, these are suited for use on rams horn hooks and with our 250 tonne load cell shackles.

Rigging Rentals offer 56.6 tonne swivels suitable for used on high capacity lifts. The swivels are suited for use on ramshorn hooks and with 250 tonne load cell shackles.

When using multiple sling legs this device provides a means of equalizing forces within the legs. Connection is made via standard Grade “S” bow shackle and can be used with chain, wire rope or synthetic slings. Ideal in compensating for differences in load lift points and sling lengths.

Rigging Rentals maintain a large fleet of pneumatic chain hoists with well known brands such as JDN, Endo and Toku. We keep both air controlled pendent and cord control models and have heights of lift ranging from 3 to 50 metres, many of our hoists have chain buckets/bags fitted and many with the air filter/lubricator permanently plumbed to the hoist. All of our air hoists are maintained using genuine parts and are subject to continual off hire inspections and testing.

We offer a variety of hydraulic jacking systems for hire in a variety of configurations including electric and manual systems and two or four way manifold systems which allow for control over multiple cylinders. Cylinder capacity ranges from 10 to 100 tonnes, making them suitable for a range of applications. All Hydraulic Jacking Systems are full tested and maintained to manufacturer standards.

LOAD ROLLERS

We provide compact, lightweight Toe Jacks for hire in the 5, 8, 18 tonne capacities. Toe Jacks are suited to lifting loads in confined spaces and can be easily transported. All Toe Jacks are fully tested and maintained to manufacturer standards.

TENSION LOAD CELLS

Rigging Rentals carry the Safe T Weigh brand of wireless tension cells available from 6.5 to 250 tonne, we have multiple units of most cells so we can cater for a multi point lift. Each unit comes with a hand held display unit that operates up to 100m radius ensuring operators can work at a safe distance from the lift site. All of our load cells have NATA certificates of calibration by a third party NATA accredited laboratory.

LOAD CELL SHACKLES

Rigging Rentals have MSL load cell shackles with the same wireless telemetry the standard tension cells use. The shackles are wide body super shackles and the load is evenly distributed on the load cell pin via a bobbin, we also have master links so multi attachment points can be gathered to the load pin.

LOAD CELL SYSTEMS

COMPRESSION LOAD CELLS - HIGH CAPACITY

Rigging Rentals have compression load cell systems for hire. Our four x 50 tonne systems can operate a single load cell through to four simultaneously back to a weather resistant display case. The display unit has built in re-chargeable batteries that allows use in a remote location. Other features include a built in printer with time and date recorded, this will print individual load cell readings. All of the equipment packs into a sturdy road case that allows secure shipping.

Display unit with printer and colour coded cables, easy to set up with automatic tare.

Compact low height compression cells with 20 metre cables

We have a high capacity compression load cells system which includes 4 x 200 tonne load cells. The four point system that will accommodate modules up to 800 tonne. The system is ideal for weighing large structures and to determine centre of gravity.

Previous projects have included:

• Fabricated ship blocks for Australian Defence force vessels.• Testing levy bank walls to 100 tonne in Tasmania.• Large fabricated modules prior to crane lifts at a Shell Refinery.

PADEYE TESTER

Rigging Rentals Padeye Tester for proof load testing of padeyes and lifting points. The unit is supplied with interchangable clevis connectors covering a full range of padeyes from 2t to 35t (refer chart below). The applied force is measured via a NATA certified calibrated compression cell and displayed on an LED indicator. Accuracy 0.1 to 1.5%.

We supply Seaflex Lifeboat Test Kits for hire. Supplied in transit box they contain all equipment required to test up to 7 tonne in lifeboats, platforms and other structures.

Each kit includes the following items:

• 18 x 375lt water bags = 6750kg of test weight• One manifold used to simultaneously fill 6 bags• All hoses & couplings• Ingersoll Rand pneumatic bellows pump

SEAFLEX WATER LOAD BAGS

As the Australian agent for Seaflex™ we cater to a wide industry base with the bulk of our water bag business coming from the shipping and offshore segments. Seaflex™ Water Load/Weight Bags can be used individually or clustered for load testing of up to 300 tonne on one hook. They are ideal for testing cranes and are issued with fully completed log books, certificates and operating instructions.

SEAFLEX AIR LIFT BAGS

Often referred to as parachute lifting bags, the Seaflex Standard Range of underwater air lift bags is designed for supporting and lifting loads from any depth. While their single point attachment is ideal for lightening underwater structures such as pipes and templates, their main application is for lifting vessels and other loads from the seabed to the surface.

Built and tested in full compliance with IMCA D-016 - Revision 3, Seaflex air lift bags are in constant use with offshore and marine contractors all over the world.

SOLID TEST WEIGHTS

We provide an extensive range of test weights for hire, including solid steel cased weights. Our test weights range in size from 25kg to 4.5 tonnes. All test weights are fully certified and calibrated and ready for immediate use.

ELEVATOR TEST WEIGHTS

Elevator test weights are a critical component in the testing and certification of elevators and can be used for the servicing and repairs of elevators. Rigging Rentals offer the test weights in 200kg sets with 20kg increments.
