REPLACEMENT FLAME SCANNERS

FOR ALSTOM GT11/ABB GT24

We are the OEM flame scanner supplier for present production GT13/26 (50Hz) gas turbines in

accordance with Drawing HTCT322364. These high quality, German-made products are proven to work

on your GT11/24 (60Hz) machine.

You can buy in confidence knowing these are not aftermarket copies.

BFI Automation was established in 1973 and is the OEM supplier to several gas turbine manufacturers.

We also make retrofit units for GE 5/6B/7EA/7FA.

GT11/GT24 You may presently have three threaded or flanged probe fittings, three fiber optic cables, and three

flame scanners in a single large ATEX 1 (T6) enclosure with output signals to a rack-mounted set of

amplifiers.

We supply a drop-in replacement for all of these components. We also offer the option of individual

flame scanners with Zone 2 (NEC Class 1 Div 2 BCD)(T4) enclosures for convenience if only one is

needing replacement.

There is an Alstom instruction specific to installation of our equipment!

ORDERING INFO

BFI products have a two year warranty from date of shipment, repair or replace at our discretion.

All electronic modules are technically repairable but not economically feasible after ten years of service.

If the sensors fade (sometimes after 10-15 years of service) the scanners can be shipped to us for

adjustment back to factory specification at a fee.

Units are drop-in replacements and should perform plug-and-play. Be careful to order the appropriate

length of fiber optic and multi-conductor cables. Part number suffix may change.

If you choose not to replace the OEM type enclosure with three scanners inside then we suggest buying

three individual scanners each in a small enclosure. The caveat is these individual ones come in Zone 2

enclosures which may need to be located in a different location based on your plant requirements. The

cable lengths, both fiber optic and multi-conductor, may be affected.
