REPLACEMENT INDUCTION LAMPS Q? Do you have a range of self ballasted Induction Bulbs ? A; YES, We offer HF Induction bulbs of 20W, 30W, and 40W with E27 screw fitting, and also an E40 / E27 end cap converter.

The light outputs vary and are summarised as:-

•20W provides 1258 lumens equivalent to a traditional 100W lamp

•30W provides 2260 lumens equivalent to a traditional 150W lamp

•40W provides 2472 lumens equivalent to a traditional 200W lamp

The Induction bulb gives significant energy cost savings – energy and carbon

costs savings of 80% can be realised.

Q? What light output do they provide? A! The light outputs vary and are summarised above as:-

Q? So, using the Induction bulb gives significant energy cost savings? A! Most certainly – energy and carbon costs savings of 80% can be realised. Q? Does the self ballasted Induction bulb have an EMC certification? A: YES. Our agreement with our factory partners in China providers us with Induction bulbs that are EMC certified. This is crucial to avoid interference with radio and other similar wave formats.

Q? What is the life expectancy of the Induction Bulb? A! Our Induction bulbs have a warranty of 2 years and an expected operating life of 60,000 hours Q? Do the light levels fall off with use? A! Yes, as do all lighting systems BUT the induction lumen depreciation falls no more than 10% over the first 2000 hours (c 250 days at 8 hours per day), far out performing traditional lamps. Q? Do the Induction bulbs come in different light colours? A! YES. The default colour is 6000 Kelvin (daylight), but with special order, can be provided over the range 2,700 to 7000 Kelvin. Q? Can you give some examples of the applications for Induction Bulbs? A! YES; our recent commercial success was the use in an innovative design for car parks and passage ways in aggressive environments.

Q? Can you have bulbs with even higher wattages? A! Yes but these would not be self ballasted and would need a separate ballast Q? Can the induction bulb be provided in a variety of colours? A! Yes – the bulbs can be in any colour
