I am delighted to inform you that your presentation will be included among the chosen talks at the 36th TESOL Greece Annual International Convention on March 21st-22nd, 2015. The selection process was extremely difficult for the committee as we were inundated with proposals and the responses to our Call for Participation have exceeded our expectations.

Please Send Confirmation: We would very much appreciate it if you could reply to this email (cc: tesolgreece@gmail.com) by January 14th 2015 to confirm your attendance.

I would like to inform you that, should you not do so by the allocated date, your proposal will not be included in the programme.  We are currently working on the schedule and you will receive this by mid February. More information regarding the Convention will be e-mailed to you in due course.

 

If you need a letter of invitation to apply for a visa, please mention it in your reply.

 The conference fee is 50 Euros and entitles you to:

A year’s membership.

Free access to all TESOL Greece’s events (8 annual events),

The electronic edition of the TESOL Greece newsletter (published 4 times

a year). 

Access to the “members – only” part of our website, which is available

with audio- visual material and access to webinars and live-streamed

events.

Free access to the “out-of-town speakers’ dinner” on March 14th (venue

and time will be announced soon).

Free access to our Saturday night party with a view of the Acropolis

All the benefits our members enjoy such as discounts on CPD courses

and scholarships offered by sponsors.

 

You can register at the convention venue at the presenters’ stand. There you will also be given your presenter’s folder.

 

Convention e-proceedings:  This year, presenters can send their papers to be uploaded on TESOL Greece’s website. The papers will be proofread/edited by the Convention Proceedings Reading Committee.

TESOL Greece Blog: You will be invited by the blogmaster to contribute to the blog with a brief article, trailer, poster or videoed interview about your presentation. This is an opportunity for you to inform our members about your presentation without the word limitations of the Convention’s programme.

 

TESOL Greece is unable to provide grants or any other financial assistance related to travel or accommodation.

Accommodation: By January 30th, a list with hotels that offer special rates to our members and presenters will be uploaded on our website.

 

Content of presentations: Your presentation has been approved as a professional one. Our members are extremely sensitive to any kind of promotion of product or company.  If you intend to do so, please inform us immediately so that we can reschedule your presentation and have it in the commercial slots of the programme.
