Aer Lingus was founded by an Irish Government in

1936, with an initial capital of £ 100.000 pounds.

The company logo is the iconic shamrock which is

an important symbol in the Irish culture

The Company made his first trip on 27 May 1936

with the Havilland Dragon from Dublin Airport to the

UK, whit just five passengers abroad
