The claims were staked and recorded on different ocassions, (April/91, April/92, May/92 and November/92) in the name of Ivan Murphy, 35 White Oak Drive, of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, P6C 2H7. The staking, along with this claim work was aided by the help of partner Elwood Goodmurphy, 39 Celine Court, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, P6A 4S6.

The claims are located in Olsen Township in the district of Algoma and the Mining Division of Sault Ste Marie, approximately 90 km north of Sault Ste Marie by road. It is reached by travelling Highway 17 North for 60 km before turning east onto a logging road to Adelaide Lake. An ATV road past McGovern Lake reaches the south west corner of the claims block. Another ATV road gets to 1/4 mile on the north east of the claim group near McGary Lake. No roads exist across the claim groups.

Previous Exploration

In the fall of 1988, Ontex Resource Limited submitted Geophysical (EM k Magnetometer), Geological li Geochemical results (WR 174/88). Their work covered over 60 claims divided into an Eastern and a Western Block. Our claims are generally located in the southern half of their West Block. While they forfeited the claims, their report writer, Peter J. Vamos Consultants, had suggested further geological mapping and geochemical sampling.

Exploration was also performed by Bush Pilot and Associates from 1982 to 1986 for Mid North Engineering Services before Ontex Resources Limited obtained the claims in a transfer. Bush Pilot conducted airborne surveys and a grid for sampling. The bulk of their survey was lo the east of our claims.

Earlier exploration was mostly airborne by Tech Corporation in 1975 and Algoma Central in 1956 and 1960. No significant miner i/at ion was identified.

In 1990 the Ministry issued a series of maps identifying "Magnetic and Electromagnetic Surveys" of the Batchewana area. The map 81448 includes our claims. A copy with our claim block outline is attached (Figure A) showing those anomalies identified in that survey which logically corresponds to the ground surveys by Ontex Resource Limited in 1988.

In December 1992 we submitted a line cutting, picketing and surveys for Magnetometer fa VLF for which assessment credits have been received. Work Order W*T 390'6W 06. These surveys were for a central 19 unit claim block (claims 1099362 to 1099380 inclusive) that had been staked in December 1990. The claims in this report are for subordinate claims on the West-South tx. North-East ends of the original claims. They were staked as they came open and are a continuation of three anomalies that ran diagonally across our original 19 claim group.

Mr. Fleming, previous holder of Block Claim 782892 and 782893 did some sampling and prospecting on the property in 1990 but surrendered the claims in 1992.

Page 7: REPORT ON VLF-EM MAG & SCINT SURVEYS · 2017-01-17 · 41n01sw9300 2.153 l 1 olsen 010 received feb 2 11994 mining lands branch report on a. vlf-em survey and b. magnetometer survey

Geology

The claims lie within the Batchewana Greenstone Belt that stretches across most of Olsen Township. The sedimentary and volcanic rocks are of the Archean Age. The sedimentarys are on the northern fringes and include claims 1098900 and 1098901. Meta volcanics cover most all of the other claims and are clearly identified in Figure A (copy of Map 2251). They consist mostly of mafic and intermediate flows and associated tuffs.

Ontex Resources Limited and the Ministry Map 81448 of the Batchewana Area (Airborne Electromagnetic Survey) have both identified three bands of potential anomalies running East-North West across the claims. A copy of a portion of Map 81448 is attached as Figure C.

Line Cutting li P icketing

Procedure

An original claim group of nineteen claims were subdivided into a West Block of 12 claims and an East Block of 7 claims to accommodate a suitable Base Line in each block. Surveys have been submitted in 1992 for these 19 Claims.

The claims for this report were a continuation and attachment to our original claims. Note in the diagram below the Base Lines for the new claims. A diagonal Base Line was used were it was practical to expose the geological aspects better. The Base Lines were also selected so that we could use a common Magnetometer Base Station "B36" in the original West Block and allow us corrected readings for all 32 claim units. ^MiligiMMMt1 could be linked quickly to all additional Base Stations by snowmachine over packed trails that usually traversed lakes & swamps.

Claim 1098994 on the west uses a continuation of our original diagonal South-East to North-West Base Line.

Block Claim 782892 on the North-East of the original claim group uses a similar diagonal 110 degree Base Line that is parallel and 850' North of the Base Line across the original West Block.

Block Claim 1099099 to the south of the original West Block has an East-West Base Line that is also the claim line.

Claims 1098900 S 9011 also has an East-West Base Line that is the dividing claim line.

All Base Lines and the Laterals were picketed every 100'. Laterals were at 400" intervals. Picket Lines on Lakes were not permanently marked of course, and were done first in early April as identified on the "Daily Report" of the formal "Final Report" form. All other pickets are in place for additional prospecting and reporting.

In total 820 pickets were established for 15.53 miles of line cutting as follows:

67 pickets for Claim 1098994

253 pickets for Block Claim 1099099

137 pickets for Claims 1098900 and 901

363 pickets for Block Claim 782892 and units 782893,1098899

accompanying survey mapsInserts 1,2 and 3. Allare identified for future

The grid has been projected onto the at a scale of 1:3600 (l" = 300'). See picket locations, laterals and base lines work.

We have projected the readings of this new survey onto the maps of the "original 19 Claims Surveys" from last year in order to identify continuity of the anomalies. While it was time consuming to project it in this manner, we believe the results are justified.

Page 10: REPORT ON VLF-EM MAG & SCINT SURVEYS · 2017-01-17 · 41n01sw9300 2.153 l 1 olsen 010 received feb 2 11994 mining lands branch report on a. vlf-em survey and b. magnetometer survey

Magnetometer Survey

On April 7th, 1992 for the original 19 claims Magnetometer^ Survey, a Base Station B36 and identified on our survey map as was selected because of its consistent readings and its location? B36 is a Base Line Station of West Block that is adjacent to the lake and a system of swamps that allow us to reach all the Base Line Stations by snowmobile. All other Base Stations for the survey groups were located on land along the base line and adjacent to frozen Lakes or trails. They are identified on the survey maps as

These were chosen after several trails with B36 to yield consistently proportional readings. From these Base Stations any additional base readings were established along the Base Lines. All corrections were made so that all readings for all 32 claims are thus corrected to B36 Base Station. All readings were recorded and corrected using the same Scintrex Integrated System 2 Proton Magnetometer. The console unit was Model 781010 bearing Serial Number 8707302.

The Survey Map is the result of corrected readings. The ground high and low readings are relatively consistent to the 1990 Airborne ^electromagnetic Survey Map 81448 of Batchewana. See Figure E.

Magnetometer Results

While a magnetic trend does exist North West and South East diagonally across our claim blocks it is broken into a series of magnetic highs and is not consistent. The most common background reading is 58400 and even in the trend zone identified above the readings of 58600 must be included to identify this as a trend. Highs of 60000 gammas or more are very spotty.

Page 11: REPORT ON VLF-EM MAG & SCINT SURVEYS · 2017-01-17 · 41n01sw9300 2.153 l 1 olsen 010 received feb 2 11994 mining lands branch report on a. vlf-em survey and b. magnetometer survey

VLF-EM16 Survey

We used a Geonics Limited instrument bearing the name Ronka EM16, Serial # 2320. This instrument was used with the selection switch tuned to Culter, Maine, U.S.A. - Station NAA, frequency 17.8, which is located 102 degrees to the right of astronomical

our claims position. The unit for all readings was Culter and readings taken 90 degrees counter clockwise to the right of astronomical North). The "In Phase" recorded after the receiver was tilted back and forth

North from "nulled" to (12 degrees reading was

intensity. Quadrature readings were thento get minimum soundtaken by adjusting the dial with the left hand to further minimizethe sound.

All 820 readings from our another listing. Each traversefrom the most Northern station downward across the base line and the most Southern reading. These lists of readings were used

field book were transferred to line was listed to show readings

"Fraser Filter" the In Phase percentages. Attached are two maps

[1] A Profile Map of the In Phase and Quad percentages toidentify the peaks and valleys of both the negative and positive recordings.

[2] A Contour Map of the In Phase readings that were subjected to the Fraser Filter method. This technique is properly described in the EM16 Manual from Geonics. This is the 3rd set of VLF Survey Maps produced by the writers.

VLF-EM16 Results

This survey effectively highlights the predominant three anomalies that lay diagonally across the total 32 claims especially through the eastern additional claims 782892, 93 and 1098893. While the anomaly trend is very consistent, the strong zones registering 100 plus are areas broken onto stretches 300' wide by 2500' long.

In our prospecting and as shown clearly on the maps, the anomalies are generally stretches of swamps and lakes.

Claims 1098900 and 901 to the north are 70^ lakes and a transition area into metasedimentary. They do not show strong anomalies or magnetic characteristics. We were contemplating exploring b. prospecting this transition shoreline.

Page 12: REPORT ON VLF-EM MAG & SCINT SURVEYS · 2017-01-17 · 41n01sw9300 2.153 l 1 olsen 010 received feb 2 11994 mining lands branch report on a. vlf-em survey and b. magnetometer survey

Scint i l lorneter Survey Procedure

Using a McPhar Scintillometer TV-1A, S/N 177-55 a survey was conducted at all the Stations and the recordings are submitted on the attached Survey Map. The Scintillometer readings were recorded at all three settings of H (K,U,Th), T2 (U,Th) and T3 (Th only) for at least 10 second reading times. The instrument was held vertically to the overburden or outcrop. Tl readings were taken on the X10 or XI as necessary but are reported on the map as XI scale. T2 ft T3 readings were on the XI scale. The Threshold switch for Tl was used at the fast position. The unit was calibrated using the "Thorium Calibrating Source" supplied with the instrument checked daily in the field. There are a total of 820 pickets and survey recordings over 15.53 miles of survey lines.

The Scintillometer Survey Map inserted with the report has all the recorded readings for Tl, T2 and T3 displayed on a map with a scale of 1:3600 (l" = 300'). A profile Map for Tl readings is also an insert to the report.

Scintillometer Results

The recordings for Thoruim and Uranium are extremely low and quite uniform over the entire 13 claim units and indicate no anomalous uranium exists. We noticed some rounded granite boulders strewn within the land area of the claims 1098899, 900 and 901 but there was minimal affect on the readings. Greenstone outcrops generally yielded Tl readings 90 to 120.

Overburden, lakes In swamps dominate the eastern claims and outcrops are scarce. Black spruce, cedar and alders were evident.
