The who’s who ofIndia’s Pharma congregate at PharmaLytica 2015

Backed by UBM India’s proven expertise of growing businesses in India’s Pharma sector, PharmaLytica 2015 effortlessly served as a rich & conducive business platform in the

pharmaceutical capital of India, Hyderabad.The two day show was inaugurated at the HITEX Exhibition Center by Madan

Mohan Reddy, Vice-Chairman, Pharmexcil, Hyderabad & Whole-time Director – Aurobindo Pharma; Dr. P V Appaji, Director General, Pharmexcil, Hyderabad

and Yogesh Mudras, Acting Managing Director – UBM India.

This 2nd edition show featured over 100 exhibitors across analytical, contracting, biotechnology, and quality control sectors. These included

key companies like Airpac Filters & Systems Pvt. Ltd., Eureka Forbes Ltd., Gandhi Automations Pvt. Ltd., GD Lab Solutions Pvt. The Innovation Gallery and the Brand India pavilion by Pharmexcil were the main highlights of the show. PharmaLytica 2015 featured a conference with industry deliberations by key experts such as, Venkat Manohar, Director, IICMS; G Sundar, Director, Pharmaqa Compliance Services; Rajni Jha, Independent Consultant; Sumathi Rao, Head - Analytical, Aurobindo Pharma and Vasudev Jakhaniya, Head – Trace Analytical Lab.

With an increase in the number of participating exhibitors, delegates and visitors as compared to last year, UBM India’s

PharmaLytica is now poised to grow bigger in India’s Pharma Industry!

PharmaLytica & UBM India has provided us the perfect platform to interact & network with various types & sizes of Pharma companies. Such platforms help us keep ourselves updated with what is going on in our industry globally. I request UBM India & Pharmexcil to motivate students to visit these exhibitions as they are our future leaders and there is so much to learn here. I wish UBM India conducts many more editions of PharmaLytica at Hyderabad so our industry can benefit from PharmaLytica leading to the development of Pharma sector in not just our state but also our country.

I express my sincere thanks to UBM India for organising the second edition of PharmaLytica in Hyderabad. One third of pharma production is from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states and large number of API and Formulations facilities are located in the region. Pharma companies who are engaged in drug testing, quality control and quality assurance should utilise this opportunity of meeting various exhibitors at PharmaLytica event. The companies should understand about the latest machinery, instrumentation and improved analytical techniques which will further enable them to implement quality testing methodologies and bring cost efficiencies, thus leading to increase in exports from India.

Our objective to pitch our loading bay equipment & clean

room doors to top Pharma companies was met by meeting the

likes of Dr. Reddy’s and many others. We have got great leads here and

are expecting great business.

It’s my 2nd year at the show. I have seen a

Top FeaturesInnovation Gallery:The Innovation Gallery was the key highlight of the show. Gandhi Automations, Sigma Scientific Glass, Mack PharmaTech, Caliber Technologies, Biolinx Lab systems and Jofrax showcased their innovative product offerings as part of the gallery. The products were evaluated both by an esteemed panel of jury as well as by popular choice, voted by the visiting participants. AMETEK Test & Calibration Instruments received the Jury’s Choice Award and SRICO Innovative Laboratory Technology received the Visitor’s Choice Award.

It was a great learning experience visiting the Innovation Gallery at PharmaLytica 2015. The

equipments, software & the latest technology put on display were very informative, apt and

customised to present day requirements. We all go back with a rich experience, much more updated than

we were before. I wish PharmaLytica continues with similar exhibitions in other parts of the country too so

the Pharma & enforcement agencies keep themselves updated and do the best in their field.

PharmaLytica offered a great opportunity to analytical professionals functioning in the Indian pharmaceutical industry to attend this content led conference which was specifically designed to address their challenges.

The conference was very insightful especially Rajni Jha’s session on data integrity concerns with respect to analytical and quality control aspects. It helped me learn more about regulatory affairs, ethics, quality & compliance which is our prime focus at Sequent.

PharmaLytica has grown bigger than last year. I would rate it at 8. Pharma professionals will definitely benefit out of its innovations displayed, all the business happening and knowledge sharing.

PharmaLytica brought together people from various components on a common platform to gain and share knowledge earned in their various fields. The show has been going extremely well in spite of the transportation strike. I would give the show a rating of 9.
