Summary

Sunbelt granola chip bars are amazing. They are nutritious, filling and taste great. The only

downside they have is that they are not sold everywhere. They are not sold at the Wal-Mart in my

neighborhood, or at the H.E.B in my neighborhood, whereas, they are sold at the school bookstore.

Sunbelt bakery sells their cereals at Wal-Mart and H.E.B, and so why not sell one of their big sellers—the

chocolate chip granola bars at nationwide stores? I am a dedicated eater of this granola bar and I

want it to be stocked at all grocery stores but I will need to know if it will be fiscal for all parties

involved.

Introduction

Granola Bars are a rising trend in the world of today. People want to eat something that is

healthy, full of fiber and still delicious. Sunbelt Bakery produces a variety of Granola bars and

cereals. I noticed it at the school bookstore one day, and since then I haven’t stopped eating

them. It seems as If I am the only one who buys them, but maybe that is because I purchase

boxes of them. They are delicious, moist and full of chocolate chips. It is a huge seller but it is

not as popular as it should be. It is not sold at the Wal-Mart in my neighborhood, or at the H.E.B

in my neighborhood. Whereas, they sell their cereals at Wal-Mart and H.E.B, and so why not one

of their big sellers—the chocolate chip granola bars? Chocolate sells everywhere. There is a

country famous for making the best chocolate in the world. I propose that the Sunbelt Bakery

Chocolate Chip Granola Bars be sold at various Wal-Marts and H.EBs. It will increase the profit

of the company and if properly marketed can even double their stock prices. I am a dedicated

eater of this granola bar and I want it to be stocked at all grocery stores but I will need to know if

it will be fiscal for all parties involved.

Proposed Program

The times of today are all about being healthy. Exercising, eating right by feeding on

whole grains, and eating the right amount of calories per day. People want to look like their idols

on television and I believe Sunbelt bakery can corner that market if they expended the manpower

and capital. The chocolate chip granola bars are 230 calories. This is not quite as low as some of

their competitions, like Fiber One with their 90 calorie specials but I believe that if the world

gets a taste of this granola bar, they will sacrifice the remaining 140 calories for excellent taste

and texture. The cincher on this granola bar is that it costs 50 cents. 50 cents. That is half a

dollar. In this economy, people love things that are cheap, tasteful and even better, doesn’t taste

like sawdust or ruin the teeth. The granola bars are made with whole grain oats, nonfat milk and

various amazing ingredients that all come together to make it taste like chocolate on a stick.

Every bite is an introduction to chocolate. The chocolate is very much present and nothing is

skimped on in the making of this bar.

Methods

This market is very competitive especially with the new influx of granola bar makers

because of the healthy world we are trying to live in. As a student at the University of Houston-

Downtown, I have a vast amount of resources at my finger tips. I would look at this problem

thoroughly from all directions. As a student, I have access to important journals and databases

that connects me with national and federal write-ups, servers, statistical information. These

servers are connected to databases that collect information about the world we live in, fiscally,

socially and educationally. I will need to access these information at anywhere and at any time.

Researching the fiscal prospect of the distribution of this granola bar is going to be costly and

I don’t have the means as a student, but I recognize opportunities when I see them. I will need

with my interviews with various personnel. I will also need laptops for them.

IV. Office furniture: The office will need to be upholstered. It will also need to be equipped

with various technological advances, such as;
