Sector wise Progress of the Projects taken up by the University for the month of June -2017

One side boundary wall of pond is in progress.


On 03.06.2017 a Gosthie was organized in which 24 livestock farmers participated. The farmers will be constantly motivated for adoption of modern livestock feeding practices.

A homeopathic medical health camp was organized on 10.06.2017 in coordination with M.N. Hospital & Research Centre, Bikaner. About 65 patients were treated in the camp including women and children.

The work regarding construction of streets roads has been started by Gram-Panchayat in the village and the work is under progress.

As per directives of Hon'ble Governor International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June, 2017. 125 villagers including youth, school children (Boys & Girls), women and other villagers actively participated in the programme.

On 30.06.2017 a Gosthie was organized in which 24 villagers were participated. They were constantly motivated and educated about conservation & proper utilization of water for domestic purpose as well as agricultural purpose.


Organized a Yoga programme in school on the occasion of International Yoga Day on 21.06.2017 in which students and teachers participated.

On 30.06.2017 villagers were made aware about the water scarcity and its importance and explained the method and usefulness of rainwater conservation. Einitiative :- Computer and internal services are being provided by university in the govt. upper primary school.


Water Conservation Activity :- Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Beechwal, Bikaner organized one day awareness programme on water conservation and motivate them to conserve rain water on own field.

Renovation of Farm Pond :- The work is on progress. The plantation work will be done during onset of monsoon.

International Yoga Day :- Celebrated international yoga day on 21

ST June, 2017 at Benisar. 70 Farmers,

Farm women and Children were participated in this programme.


To avoid water logging, cleaning of drains done with support from villagers.

Water Conservation :- For rain water conservation, the digging work around the pond was carried out during the month with the help of MNREGA.

Yoga Activities :- On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Special Yoga Camp was organized in the village school for school students and villagers. Yoga activities were carried out under the supervision of trained PTI.

E-initiatives Smart health app developed by RUHS for smooth & faster surveillance about diseases among the villagers and for their holistic care.


Organized one day institutional training on ''Food grain/Cereals production'' on 17 June, 2017 at Directorate of Extension Education under ATMQIC project in which 9 farmers/farm women participated and benefited.

Celebrated ''International Yoga Day'' and organized health camp at Govt. Secondary School, Idan Ka Bas on 21.06.2017

Organized one day training and campaign on water conservation at Idan Ka Bas on 21.06.2017 in which 35 farmers/farm women/villagers/youth participated and benefited.

Organized one day institutional training on ''Pulses production'' on 22 June, 2017 at Directorate of Extension Education under ATMQIC project in which 20 farmers/farm women participated and benefited.

Distribution of varietal seeds of Kharif crops for demonstration i.e. Bajra (Var. RHB-173, RHB-177 and MPMH-17) and Guar (RGC-1038) to farmers/farm women.

Organized a Yoga awareness rally to encourage villagers for adoption of Yoga on 16.06.2017. Also Organized a Yoga Camp from 21.05.2017 to 21.06.2017 in which different exercises of Yoga such as Aasan, Pranayam, meditation etc were undertaken.

Medicine was administered to 169 Children aged 0 - 16 years for their immunity capacity development and health protection under Swarnprasan Sanskar Programme.

Farmers were explained about the benefits of the measures of rain water conservation in the fields.


Dr. R.L. Bhardwaj, Asstt. Prof., Horticulture and Sr. Scientist & Head, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Phalodi Participated and assisted in conducting Yoga in Senior Secondary School, Nevra Road on International Yoga Day as per directives from Governor House, Jaipur.

International Yoga Day : Yoga Diwas was celebrated in Govt. Sr. Sec. School Charchoma of smart village in which 55 villagers & other have participated actively in the programme. E-initiative E-initiative has been planned. A person has been deputed in the village for this purpose. One smart class room developed in senior secondary school of smart village with assistance of India info line foundation Mumbai.

Under water conservation campaign, University members alongwith villagers and children done the cleaning work of water resources and also in the Nearby areas of the village.

Interacted with the villagers on their understanding about environment on the occasion of environment day. They were made aware about the maintenance of water resources need and importance of rain water conservation and optimum use of water.

Took out a rally on Jal Swavlamban and environment awareness.

Organized a Yoga Training Camp in the premises of Govt. Sr.Sec. Upadhyay Sanskrit School on the occasion of International yoga day.

E-initiatives:- Experts from Information technology provide hands-on Computer training to the school students & youth of the village during their visits to Dungarjaya.

Shrubs and babul trees in the pond removed with the support of district Administration. Deepening of pond and other necessary works still need to be done for which collector and divisional commissioner has been requested.

An estimate of Rs. 19.41 lacs has been prepared by University for extension of catchment area and pucca construction of pond, which has been sent to CEO Zila Parishad requesting him to prepare the estimate on Rural BSR by linking to MG NREGS and to send it to University. University will bear the material cost in addition to 40:60 wage material expenditure under MNREGS.

Rs. 57.18 Lacs were sanctioned by Zila Parishad under MG NREGS for renovation of pond and plantation work. The work is in progress. Plantation work will be done during onset of monsoon.

Excavation work done on the pond situated in the University campus. Plantation work is under progress. Excavation work at other small pond is under consideration of Gram Panchayat and is in progress accordingly.

Renovation work of pond done under MG NREGS. Deepening work of about 125 chowkadies (small pits in square shapes) done. The length, and width of which is 10X10 feet and depth is 1 & 3 feet.

Excavation work done and the sand wall around the pond, measuring 10-15 feet wide and 10 feet high made. Due to high water level, the construction work of wall (iky) could not be started during the month of June, 2017.

Deepening work of pond was initiated. ADM IVth and OIC Development Jaipur was requested by the university to issue sanction and develop the old pond under MNREGS. As informed by the university, District Administration has refused to provide budget for strengthening of old pond. CEO Zila Parishad is ready to provide sanction for the construction of new pond but not for the old one. Since there is no another site available for pond in the village, problem is being faced for construction of new pond. Raj Bhawan requested the collector Jaipur for appropriate action on the University’s proposal. ADM IV has directed CEO Zila Parishad for construction of pond, maintenance and plantation of pond as per rules.

The old pond, which was in dilapidated condition, was renovated. Some renovation works, such as construction of boundary wall, plantation around the wall including cleanliness works were carried out.

Initially the cleaning and repairing of the pond initiated. The pond requires renovation for which the efforts are being made to collect funds from MLA, MP, Zila pramukh and Secretary UIT etc. Once the funds are received from Zila Pramukh Office, renovation works will be started.

Desilting work of Umaria Anicut was completed with the financial assistance from Ms. G.R. Infra Projects. Construction of sub-surface dyke at Chhali worth Rs. 17.00 lakh out of M.P. fund including University contribution of Rs. 2.00 lakh completed.

Village adopted on 29-05-2017. As informed by University, Survania Dam constructed by Water Resources Department in village Sagdod will be developed as a model pond under MG NREGS. For this, letters dated 10 & 13 July, 2017 have been sent to SE Mahi Project, Banswara and XEN, WRD Banswara.
