Representation of youth
How do you think youth is represented?
• Teenagers humiliate their siblings-calling brother pig • Teenager boys only talk about women/girls-looking at the head teacher • Teenager girls always act sassy-walks off as she has nothing to say as saying I don’t need to explain
myself • Bullies- name calling-popularity/attention-seeker • Troublesome-talking about head- rebellious • Loud-laughing/joking-provocative • Superior/patronising-humiliating behaviour-“run the school” • Using slang-“init”-uneducated/isolation • Positive/uniform-lazy, scruffy, don’t care • Sister-“Bitchy” • Hero-anti-stereotype- stand up for Harry-Rolemodel
