throughout the construction process brought
Nason Construction completed four branch locations throughout the region for Commerce Bank. Below are highlights of those projects.
Chadds Ford, PA Completed in December 2001, Nason provided New Construction of this branch bank, which was unique in that the stone facade was reminiscent of the many historic structures in the community. The project was completed on time and on budget.
Churchman’s Corner, New Castle, DE Nason Construction provided general contracting services for this prototype branch in 2000. The building was completed within a 14-week schedule, and included construction of the building as well as the site work. The bank features four-lane side drive through tellers, vault, interior tellers, and customer service area
Marsh & Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE Nason built the first Commerce Branch Bank in Delaware in a record forty-seven days in 1999. Demolition of an existing building and site work had to be completed before construction could begin. Several challenges were overcome during the construction process, including weather conditions, unsuitable soil, and the discovery of Wilmington “blue rock.” These challenges were successfully met, and the project was completed on schedule.
Point Pleasant, NJ Nason Construction provided general contracting services for this prototype branch in 1998. The building was completed within a 14-week schedule, and included construction of the building as well as the site work. The bank features four-lane side drive through tellers, vault, interior tellers, and customer service area
Nason Construction was selected to provide general construction services for a $1.4 million addition and renovation to the existing Boeing Helicopters Credit Union facility.
The addition will entail construction of a high-tech facade to complement the style of the larger Boeing facility. Upgrades to the existing building and entryway facade will be performed to match the addition.
Due to its proximity to the Delaware River, the complex foundation for the addition consists of 45-foot-deep wood piles, with concrete grade beams and a structural concrete floor slab.
Thoughtful scheduling and phasing coordination by the Nason team will ensure this bank facility remains operational six days a week throughout construction.
Nason Construction is currently working on our seventh project with Campbell Soup Company at their World Headquarters in Camden, NJ. Our relationship spans a program of multiple projects. Highlighted below are some of those projects.
World Headquarters Renovation, Phases 1 & 2 Nason Construction originally provided general contracting services for the first two phases of the World Headquarters renovation. Completed in February 2011, the first phase included the installation of all IT equipment. The second phase, completed in June 2012, involved the complete renovation of 68,000 sf of administrative space at the Headquarters’ main building.
The retrofit included selective demolition and interior fit-out with high-end corporate office finishes and extensive mechanical and
electrical upgrades. The building remained fully occupied during the renovation.
World Headquarters, Building 70 Renovations Nason provided general contracting services for Campbell Soup’s Building 70 interior renovations, which was the first venture between Campbell’s and Nason. The scope of the project included demolition of a portion of the existing Day Care and build-out of new space and meeting rooms, as well as a new HVAC system and skylight installations. Work was completed during the night shift hours to allow the Day Care and office operations to continue without interruption.
The Nason construction team successfully coordinated construction activities within the occupied building and with the furniture assembly crews to allow on-time move-in to the renovated space.
In February of 2014, Nason was awarded Construction Manager to renovate and add to an existing office, as a major part of Singer Equipment’s relocation from Philadelphia, PA, to Bellmawr, NJ.
The 78,000 sf facility includes a store, state-of-the-art test kitchen and training facility, sales office, and warehouse. The new, larger facility will help support Singer’s continued growth in the greater Philadelphia marketplace as well as the growth of their national chain division.
This project included the replacement of a 78,000 sf roof and demolition to 5,000 sf of existing office space. New work included approximately 25,000 sf of office space, test kitchen, and retail store in addition to improvements within their 50,000 sf warehouse.
