Research has been considered as an integral part of effective teaching learning processes. Indirectly, it inculcates a habit to systematically explore the unexplored aspects of the subject area of interest among the faculty members. A research contributes significantly in updating the knowledge with new insight. Within this context this faculty development programme is designed to understand the techniques and latest trend in research.

4To sensitize the faculty members about the needs of research in education and teaching-learning process.

4? To help the participants to develop the insights for identifying the research problems.

4? To provide extensive exposures to different aspects of research methodologies.

4? To enhance the skills of the participants to use statistical techniques in research.

4? To understand the approaches of research paper development for high impact journals.

With the above stated objectives, an extensive coverage will be provided in this faculty development program on following aspects:4? Basics of Research ? Questionnaire Design4? Basic Statistical Tools ? Factor Analysis4? Cluster Analysis ? Regression Analysis4? Parametric & Non- Parametric Tests4? Structural Equation Modeling

The sessions of this programme shall be conducted by the team of eminent academicians possessing in-depth knowledge in the area of research methods and statistics. It will consist of a series of lectures and interactive sessions. A case analysis session is also scheduled so that the participants can apply the research techniques in different situations.

This programme is especially designed for faculty members, who are teaching Management courses in universities and institutes. The faculty members of other courses who are interested to enhance research skills can also join this programme. Preference would be given to full time faculty members. Institutional sponsorship is essential but it can be relaxed in exceptional cases.

ABOUT US:

Faculty of Management Science of SRMS college of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly will award the 'Certificate of participation” to each participant after completion of the programme.

The institute will provide free accommodation to the participants of this programme on sharing basis. The allotment of the accommodation will be based on first come basis and depends on the availability. The participants who need accommodation during programme are required to make request for that in the registration form.

The programme fee is ̀ 2000/- per participant. Early bird registration before 25-01-2016 is ̀ 1000/-

The interested participants are required to fill the enclosed registration form and send it along with required fee by post at college address or e-mail on fms@srmscet.edu by mentioning DD No. Photocopies of the Registration Form can be used or it can be downloaded from college website. Registration fees can be paid either by demand draft or in cash. Demand draft should be in favor of "SRMSCET" payable at Bareilly. The five days schedule is available on www.srms.ac.in

Bareilly is at aprox. 250 kms. away from both Delhi and Lucknow, from where fast buses and trains are available all the time.

Faculty of management Science (FMS) of SRMSCET, Bareilly offers Two years full time MBA Programme which is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J.A.K. Technical University, Luknow. It is ranked No. 1 in MBA programme of the affiliating university and widely recognized by industries also due to emphasis on overall quality assurance.
