and defining a OBJECTIVES

10) From extensive reading you may identify a research area: you may focus your question on pedagogy, teacher education, sociocultural concerns, learning strategies, testing and assessment, linguistic aspects, language and technology, among other fields of study.

11) Consider your experience as a teacher and interests for stating a research question.

12) Formulate (a) research question(s). As a suggestion try to narrow it (them) as much as possible.

13) Establish sub-questions underpinning the main research question.

14) Analyze the sub-questions for establishing the specific objectives.

15) Define the GENERAL OBJECTIVE: It is the affirmative form of the research question.
