Research SummaryFor my a2 coursework production, I decided to create a pop music video to The Scripts most recent song, superheroes. I chose this video with my group sharing the typical roles needed in order to make a successful music video. My aim for the research is to create my own music video by looking at every possible aspect. The use of different fonts emphasizes the artist of the song, for example, in Jessie J, and Jays music posters the font of the artist is different and bigger to the rest of the font, and this makes it stand out so the audience knows who the artist is. Another way of emphasizing whom the artist is by putting an image of the artist in the middle of the poster in order for the audience to recognize the face to the name. After watching a few music videos, I realized see how pop music videos tend to agree with theories and sometimes challenge theories too. There are various music conventions and theories which are used by many artists in most music videos.
