Researchers' Night in Hungary
European Researchers' Night events have been organised in Hungary from 2005 with coordination of:
• TEMPUS: 2006-2013
• Bay Zoltán: 2010-2015
• RCISD: 2016-2017
Consortium members in 2016-2017
• Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development / SME
• Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd. (BZN) / research organisation
• Hétfa Research Institute (HETFA) / SME
• Society for the Dissemination of Scientific Knowledge (TIT) /Assoc.

Involvement of private sector
Several programmes involve SMEs before and during the Night
Pre-events:
• Presentations of SMEs during Science Cafés
• Press dinner organised in Csopa Playbar (SMEs)
• Press Conference organised in Ericsson (SMEs)
• 5th anniversary Girls’ Day organised by Association of Hungarian Women in Science (NGO)
Events during the night:
• Workshop of innovative SMEs
• Presentations of products of innovative SMEs
• Exhibitions, science shows, games, robot programming, hands-on activities organised by SMEs
Involvement of private sector
Most important third parties from private sector: • Ericsson • Google Ground • Westling • Bosch • Etc.
+ Association of Hungarian Women in Science
Almost 20% of the partners are SMEs Most of the venues of the Night mobilise SMEs, start-ups to the event
