Residential Grounding Guides

All available electrodes must be bonded together for for a Grounding Electrode system.

Both the 2012 International Residential Code and the 2017 National Electrical Code require all available grounding electrodes to be used.

All metal boxes require bondind. Sheet metal screws are not allowed to bond the enclosure

Concentric and knockouts require a bonding bushing, wedge or locknut for required bonding

The Intersystem Bonding terminal is required on all new electrical installations and change of electrical services to ground the low voltage systems
