The event is predominantly focused on long term recovery and includes speakers from Japan, Chernobyl, Public Health England and the Environment Agency along with others from across the UK. It will address the long term community challenges following two of the biggest disasters the world has seen, how learning has been transferred to the UK, learning from UK incidents along with considering some of the new risks faced by Emergency Planners.
